A thread to discuss My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic and the tie-in media.
All of the usual forum rules
apply. In addition, please remember that the thread is discussing a kids' show, and it's primarily focused on the work itself, not the fanfic — in particular, we don't want to see lewdness creeping in.

Well in my case, it's just biscuits and bacon since the dining hall is on a Winter Storm schedule.
Blind Final Fantasy 6 Let's PlayYeah, I don't know what's up with Sibsy either. She's always been pretty good about handling the fandom's oddities. Hopefully nothing major happened and it's just a copyright thing or something.
Reaction Image Repositoryjust got back from frolicking in the snow. haven't done that in years.
All things are lawful for me, but all things are not expedient: all things are lawful for me, but all things edify not.I don't see any questions on the front page of her DA. And it could be any number of things, really. I do recall Lauren Faust had to take her versions of the G1 cast down when she was doing the G4 bible pitch, so maybe it's a sign of something good to come?
On an odd note, I found this Wildfire of hers
in some kind of strange limbo existence.
It would appear that all the images are still available if you have the link (see here
and here
for instance), but for some reason they aren't showing up in her gallery.
Maybe it would be better to leave alone for a bit? They're going to be getting enough questions, and if it is a fandom issue them being barraged won't help matter much. There;ll be some info soon enough I'm sure, and if not, oh well?
Birthright: an original web novel about Dragons, the Burdens of Leadership, and Mangoes.Yeah, I wouldn't press her too hard. If it's a fandom issue she'd want her space, if not, it's apparently something that requires her to not make her drawings visible.
Reaction Image RepositoryKeg: Yeah, I have no plans to ask her, myself.
Also, I think I just remembered how her art still exists. I'm assuming the delete button on the deviation itself is a permanent deletion, but it's very possible that it could do what I'm about to explain too. In the gallery itself, one of the quick menu options is to "Remove From This Folder", which doesn't actually delete the deviation. It simply nukes that particular folder's reference to the deviation. I remember accidentally doing this to myself when I was trying to clean up some folders and I didn't have a deviation referenced in all the places I thought I did. If you know the exact title of the deviation, you can search her gallery and it'll still come up.

Blind Final Fantasy 6 Let's PlayYou know, I think it's high time I started unwatching people on deviantart. My friends list is six pages long and it's getting tedious shuffling through all the mediocre uploads to find good stuff. At this point it's not much different than just browsing the new uploads page in whatever applicable category.
I've never had too much problem with either of those unless I started poking around in places where it was obvious you were going to run into garbage. I mostly stick to the "popular X hours" and daily deviations when browsing DA for new stuff though. I find most of my watches through outside sites like EQD.
