A thread to discuss My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic and the tie-in media.
All of the usual forum rules
apply. In addition, please remember that the thread is discussing a kids' show, and it's primarily focused on the work itself, not the fanfic — in particular, we don't want to see lewdness creeping in.

@Gilda: Do you still consider it cannibalism if it's not the same species as you? I mean, there's only one sapient species(Probably) where we're from, so the definition is a bit easier to make...
Birthright: an original web novel about Dragons, the Burdens of Leadership, and Mangoes.@ Dark: Eh, fish don't feel pain, and they're tasty. I'm pretty sure some scientist from your world proved that.
@ Kegisak: Yeah eating people is cannibalism. They might not be the same species, but if they're smart enough to talk, they're your own kind.
@ Star: Not much, really. I'm way bored waiting for a new job. Just been bumming around all week.

Late to the party here, responding to the food discussion.
Are "vinegar fries" just normal fries, but you put malt vinegar on them? Because I do that whenever it's an option. And yeah we have fry sauce in Washington too.
But it tastes just as shitty as it does anywhere else.

All things are lawful for me, but all things are not expedient: all things are lawful for me, but all things edify not.Was that Posey? I didn't know she's had a sock...
Or was it someone different who also died?
Birthright: an original web novel about Dragons, the Burdens of Leadership, and Mangoes.I just noticed that that library fanfic has chapter titles based on Scott Pilgrim. I need to read it sometime; it sounds funny.
Blind Final Fantasy 6 Let's PlayOr someone who just got banned? I dunno. I don't keep track of socks.
Visit my Tumblr! I may say things. The Bureau ProjectI have an accent question that's been bugging me since I watched Three's a Crowd this weekend. Does anyone else hear Discord slipping into a bit of an upperclass English accent at times? Most of the time his accent is General American but sometimes he slips into some non-rhotic (R-dropping) words and some of his vowels sound a bit English to me. Or is his voice based off of something completely different that might sometimes sound like a cross between the two, like Rarity's Mid-Atlantic accent? I know he has the same actor and probably the same voice as Q from Star Trek but I've never watched Star Trek so I wouldn't know if Q is supposed to have a specific accent or not.
Or if it's just Discord confusing the viewers on a meta level by mixing up his accent on some words or maybe trying to sound a little bit like the Evil Brit trope but not going all the way.
Edit: The page on this site for John De Lancie says that he's from Philadelphia. Is what I'm hearing a Philadelphia accent, then, or is his voice distinct from the typical accent from that city?
