A thread to discuss My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic and the tie-in media.
All of the usual forum rules
apply. In addition, please remember that the thread is discussing a kids' show, and it's primarily focused on the work itself, not the fanfic — in particular, we don't want to see lewdness creeping in.

Eternal was quite engaging indeed.
The three finest things in life are to splat your enemies, drive them from their turf, and hear their lamentations as their rank falls!@Meta:
Now that you mention it, she does indeed
Yaaaay, I'm still memorable and relevant-ish!
I'd also recommend Book of Friendship. It's not actually finished, but it is still updating, and it's written by a member of this forum, so, you know. Support.
I need to get back to reading it myself...
Birthright: an original web novel about Dragons, the Burdens of Leadership, and Mangoes.I couldn't keep reading the Book Of Friendship. I kept screaming and crying at my screen.

But ya know, that's fine too.
so, Rainbow dash and the Daring Do Double Dare.
Chapter 1 begins with Rainbow waiting for hours at the Ponyville bookstore. Right off the bat we get this little gem:
Even though she would have the precious book in her hooves in less time than it took for her friend Pinkie Pie to throw together a party (her current record is four minutes, seventeen seconds), Rainbow Dash still felt so fizzy with anticipation that she thought she just might explode. As awesome as a rainbow firework would look, however, Rainbow didn’t have time for it. Not now. Not on the release night of the most incredible adventure book ever! Plus, if she exploded, she’d lose her place in line.
many ponies are waiting in line, Rainbow had apparently set a trend for the books so that a good 200 ponies are camped outside the store, including Big Mac of all ponies.
Applejack, taking advantage of a large group of ponies in one area, is selling Daring DO themed apple snacks. To which we get another good bit:
“Get yer Apple Fritters… of Destiny!” Applejack said, trotting up and down the line with a tray of treats for sale. “Fresh Caramel Apples… of Doom?”
“Hey, Applejack?” Rainbow asked her friend. They just looked like normal treats to her. “Uh… what are you doing?”
“Figured I’d try to make my treats from Sweet Apple Acres sound as Daring Do as I could,” Applejack explained. She picked up a mini apple pie and passed it to Rainbow. “Apple Pie of Fate?”
Rainbow announces there's only one minute left, to which the crowd cheers. Basking in the excitement, Rainbow decides she'll make an impressive entrance.
Hovering above, she times her angle and does a tripple barrel roll, corkscrewing 3 rainbows as she does and crashes through the just opened door and flying into the book display, scattering all the the owner's (Plot Twist) books.
