A thread to discuss My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic and the tie-in media.
All of the usual forum rules
apply. In addition, please remember that the thread is discussing a kids' show, and it's primarily focused on the work itself, not the fanfic — in particular, we don't want to see lewdness creeping in.

It would clearly be Celestia's doing, but Derpy would be the one who puts her plans into action.
Out of all the keys, I'm most curious about how Twilight will get hers. But we'll probably have to wait until the finale for that.
"I feel like I'm on a raft and surrounding me is an ocean of dumb."- Mr. Sark@ Luminosity: Yeah, neither can I, which is why I think this idea makes so much more sense.
If Spitfire were a member of the Pony Illuminati, it might go a little way to redeeming her in my eyes. Probably not though. I'd much more likely start combing through all the episodes for evidence of how she singlehandely devolved the Illuminati into a pale imitation of what they should have been.
So we're 10 episodes in and there's going to be what, probably 4 more key episodes and then a two parter finale related to the box plot. Seems like they're going to have to pick up the pace.
Blind Final Fantasy 6 Let's Play@Syd: Yeah, it makes more sense than coincidence or that Spitfire and Coco are pony Illuminati.
Also, regarding socks, I would be up for following that "only one at a time rule". The problem isn't so much that they're there so much as that as soon as one shows up like a bunch more immediately follow and it utterly derails everything. It's especially bad when it's a bunch of OC's, because that just detatches it from the actual show. If it's say, Twilight or Pinkie or whoever, at least then we could go the route of "talking" to them about the events of the episodes. But yeah, when it's stuff like two minor characters talking entirely about stuff that happens outside the context of the show it's kind of a pain to keep track of it all and I usually end up skipping it.
@Story: The key episodes generally aren't any different than regular episodes, so I doubt that that's a problem. It just means adding a gift into the end.

Reaction Image RepositoryI believe that, when all of the "keys" are gathered, they will change into actual keys when they're brought together, or when they're brought to the box.
Hey guys, hey Gwen. How's it going?
I just got back from gamestop, I picked up Atelier Rorona for 9 bucks. Hope it's good.
http://h0useb0und.tumblr.com/Hello? Non-show accurate models? Plus, I still think the episode that will market the Rainbow power will just be more commercialism.
Dakota's blog An odd agent of justiceI dunno, I feel like Dicsord would be more inventive than just leaving a note. I think he'd put in fake versions of the original elements or something.
"We went through all that trouble just to get these back!?"

@CDRW I can't imagine a naive everymare like Coco pulling a magical gambit like that. I do like the idea that those things are keys only because of what they mean to each mane 6 member.
