A thread to discuss My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic and the tie-in media.
All of the usual forum rules
apply. In addition, please remember that the thread is discussing a kids' show, and it's primarily focused on the work itself, not the fanfic — in particular, we don't want to see lewdness creeping in.

I am... probably True Neutral.
I generally obey the law, but mostly because they make sense. But there are rules that I don't agree with, and if I can get away with not following those, that's probably what I end up doing.
I am usually nice (or at least polite) to people, or try to be. But let's face it, making a personal sacrifice for strangers is not that easy, or else everyone would be giving up all their extra cash and/or time to charity or something.
That said, I also like to think I lean towards Good. Just not enough to cross the alignment threshold.
This reminds me, I need to watch more Adventure Time. I want to see if they reveal more about pre-Ice King Simon.

This "faculty lot" you speak of sounds like a place of great power...as the pothole in my sig suggests, i'm Neutral Good.
All things are lawful for me, but all things are not expedient: all things are lawful for me, but all things edify not.marcen, i thought you got rid of the Judge Dredd helmet.
All things are lawful for me, but all things are not expedient: all things are lawful for me, but all things edify not.@crimson I don't need the helmet! I'm playing Stallone's Dredd.
Oh snap.

https://youtu.be/_1F5HhUvFbM?si=csgwerqELcG6615qAnyone know how to track down mysterious inexplicable memory leaks in Python?
Blind Final Fantasy 6 Let's Play@Dark: Hard to say. My first exposure to Adventure Time was on TV, so the list of episodes I've seen is kind of scattered, and I don't know which seasons they fall under. For that matter, I don't even remember the titles.
The only season I watched in full was Season 4. (I was curious about Flame Princess, so I started there.)
This "faculty lot" you speak of sounds like a place of great power...@Crimson I just wanna dress up as Dredd, go up to random people and tell them, "You Betrayed the law!"
https://youtu.be/_1F5HhUvFbM?si=csgwerqELcG6615qI don't care what the alignment chart itself says, Pinkie is chaotic. She may not subvert order directly, but as Rainbow Dash says, she's "so random."
http://h0useb0und.tumblr.com/@Story: Well, I know less about coding than you, but Python is loop-based, right? Maybe a loop just isn't terminating when it should, so it keeps on going and that's causing the leak?
I know enough to know every problem is different, so I'd have to know about your code specifically.
Birthright: an original web novel about Dragons, the Burdens of Leadership, and Mangoes.@crimson LOL! Laughed at that so hard! People who don't know that movie were like "WTF is he laughing at?"
https://youtu.be/_1F5HhUvFbM?si=csgwerqELcG6615qAs for my own alignment, I'm probably either Neutral Good or True Neutral. I'm not the nicest person all the time, I have my bad days and I swear too much, and I don't have a lot of respect for the government of any nation. On the other hand, I generally obey the law, listen to my parents, and I truly want to help others if I can, unless I'm having a terrible day or I'm really tired.
http://h0useb0und.tumblr.com/Ah. Season 5's premiere forms a linked trilogy with the ending of season 4 that is a major part of the Lich arc. It goes like this with the Enchiridion, His Hero, the two parter Mortal Folly/mortal Recoyle, the snail now watching Finn and Jake throughout season 3 and 4, in Your Footsteps which has an important scene in an otherwise normal episode, and comes to a head in s4's finale with the Lich. Then season 5's Finn the Human/jake the Dog two parter forms a trilogy concluding the Lich storyline for now.
As a whole the show seems to work as Better on DVD, as you can watch the arc-heavy episodes in order once you know what episodes to look for. Doesn't help it's very heavy on continuity when there's a important episode and the show assumes you know about the plot points.
Yeah, I'd probably fall under Neutral Good as well. I tend to follow the rules by default unless I think they're inherently unfair, at which point Screw the Rules, I'm Doing What's Right! kicks in.
Also, Twilight is Lawful Good. It's pretty obvious.
Reaction Image Repository@Star Oh yes. I get bored. And my mind goes into weird tangents. Why?

Just rewatched the Season 5 premiere of Adventure Time. I'd seen it before, but just, damn. coupled with an insane amount of world building, the whole thing feels like a rollercoaster of drama and comedy that can leave you chuckling one second, and literally the next swings back into drama until your gasping and a little teary-eyed at the same time.
