A thread to discuss My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic and the tie-in media.
All of the usual forum rules
apply. In addition, please remember that the thread is discussing a kids' show, and it's primarily focused on the work itself, not the fanfic — in particular, we don't want to see lewdness creeping in.

Hey, dudes. So, does anyone here know how I can download Flash player to my Kindle so I can stream Kill la kill?
Dakota's blog An odd agent of justiceYeah, the Rainbow Power toys look stupid. Then again the Crystalization was only temporary too, so hopefully it won't be a big deal.
Blind Final Fantasy 6 Let's PlayAnd confirmation that the spool of thread will be something important.
Regarding the Rainbow Power thing, its actual appearance in the show may not match up exactly with the toy line. Remember when there were those Equestria Girls toys that had the cutie marks on the cheek? So if you don't like the design there's still a chance it will look better on the show.
Or, you know, maybe not.
Huh. Raridash. Not a ship you see every day...
Birthright: an original web novel about Dragons, the Burdens of Leadership, and Mangoes.Reminds me of the moment in A Dog And Pony Show where Twilight and RD hug in midair after colliding. I'm surprised it hasn't shown up out of context.
Blind Final Fantasy 6 Let's PlayThis was inevitable
, as was this

The three finest things in life are to splat your enemies, drive them from their turf, and hear their lamentations as their rank falls!I didn't really like how Rarity acted when she was making the others help her. I suppose that was the intended result, though. Some of it sounded so stupid though. "What? You want to GO to the show I got you tickets for? How could you abandon me like that after I got you the tickets!"
And yeah, based on this episode I think ALL those last-second scenes are going to be important. I just don't know how.
Lastly, a bit of Fridge Logic over Rarity helping Coco get that job helping the musical director/producer with costumes for the next show. How the heck did SHE feel about Rarity getting someone else to do her work for her?

Shipping her with ANYONE is crack, she only appeared for like five minutes in the episode.
Eh, I suppose so. I still don't see how it worked out.

http://h0useb0und.tumblr.com/Which part, that her friends made up with her? Because it's far from the worst thing they've done over the series.
Blind Final Fantasy 6 Let's PlayShe was stressed, she had just had her entire world view shattered. Everything she believed in thrown in her face and used to ruin her. So she over reacted. If that was how things really were, then FINE, she could do that too.
her friends understood that, understood why she was acting that way, why what happened hurt her so much.
Yeah the whole emotional roller coaster was a bit fast paced for me, but good for the show and the time limit.
I know Rarity's things is generosity, but watching her get back stabbed is a good reminder that not all good deeds get rewarded. It is an unfortunate fact of life. At least the ponies she was generous towards returned the favor in more ways than one.
We are all made of star stuff. Very, very weird star stuff.

I think one thing I liked about today's episode is that when Rarity's generosity comes into question, she goes to the opposite end trying to guilt trip the mane six into working extra hard, but doesn't go so far to make her to make her unlikeably OOC, a trap writers sometimes fall into (A certain episode from "Littlest Pet Shop" comes to mind).
