A thread to discuss My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic and the tie-in media.
All of the usual forum rules
apply. In addition, please remember that the thread is discussing a kids' show, and it's primarily focused on the work itself, not the fanfic — in particular, we don't want to see lewdness creeping in.

Given how well the thing with the parasprites went, I kinda assumed that this time around, Twilight was careful to design the spell so it only removed their desire to eat apples specifically. The bats are vampire fruit bats, not vampire apple bats. They'll probably eat any kind of fruit, Twilight just kept them away from apples.
Reaction Image Repositorydid yo guys know that "Bronies" documentary that came out a while back is on Netflix now?
All things are lawful for me, but all things are not expedient: all things are lawful for me, but all things edify not.It is? Interesting. I wonder if I can get my family to watch it. Do you think it'd be interesting for a nonbrony?
Blind Final Fantasy 6 Let's PlayTimberwolves don't really come out of the forest much. The vampire bats are pretty clearly a highly unusual pest; AJ probably knows how to deal with the regular set.
Reaction Image RepositoryDear Twilight,
Thanks for sending a horde of vampire fruit bats to my pear farm. Bitch.
Sincerely,
Pear Blossom
The Doc isn't bad, but I much prefer the Brony Chronicles, even if only the first part has been released. The Doc glorifies the fandom in rays of sunshine that provides litle factual information and as an aside took the easy way out and mocked previous MLP history including calling Tales G2. BC gives an in depth look at the events leading up to Fi M and part 2 looks to be doing some good analysis of the fandom.
Yeah, the doc isn't bad by any means, but it just has a sort of "Aren't bronies great?" feel to the whole thing. It's informative, but I think it glosses over some of the problems that the fandom has.
Reaction Image RepositoryThat, is really the only thing I can think of that makes sense, but the episode still gets points deducted for not explaining it. That being turned into a Bat, and still having a little of them left in her, let her be able to communicate with them and work out the deal
but yeah AJ still gets fucking boned on the deal.
Seems like it'd be the nature of Allegedly Free city building games.
Blind Final Fantasy 6 Let's Play

A few millennia from now:
Princess Skyla (in voiceover): Dear Midnight Twinkle, the spell contained on the last page of this book is Twilight Sparkle's unfinished "mind control" spell. She was never able to get it right, and thus abandoned it. I believe that you may be able to figure out why she kept fucking it up.

The Princess Midnight cometh
Behold, behold...
