A thread to discuss My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic and the tie-in media.
All of the usual forum rules

Hello, toonsters. What's new today? Finally expanded to buying Cheerilee for Ponyville in the app.
Dakota's blog An odd agent of justiceYes Beast Wars was freaking amazing. Granted the animation looks really really really bad now, compared to what we have, but it doesn't matter, the story is just so, damn, GOOD!
I just rewatched the entire series over the last month or so, and actually, I think the animation holds up pretty darn well, too, once you get past the first season. It was a really nice surprise; I was afraid when I started that it was going to be one of those cases where I'd get a few episodes in and be wondering what the hell I was smoking when I was 13 to like this, but yeah, it actually does hold up really well.
The only major criticism I can lob against it is that it only had two female characters in the entire series (okay, and one one-shot character who was essentially retarded), and one of them was written out after only being around for about half a season. I didn't even remember Airazer existing from watching the show as a kid, and she was awesome.
Well, not sure it really worked THAT fast, or things were THAT bad at SAA, the only time we see it is in musical numbers, and those are the one thing I tend not to take literally, as they are more about the emotion, the feeling, then the actions. So wouldn't be surprised if the song was exaggerating how bad the fields were.
Oh, well then, hope you two have fun. Just, watch out for statues of pegasi with their wings over their eyes, oddly moving or positioned/doubled shadows, any odd things like that.

Damn 90's kids. Quit yelling about how great Beast Wars was and get off my lawn!
I honestly found Prime to be the most dramaticaly advanced of the series, especially near it's endgame.

Oh yes, the day after an episode is obviously not the time to talk about said episode.
