A thread to discuss My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic and the tie-in media.
All of the usual forum rules
apply. In addition, please remember that the thread is discussing a kids' show, and it's primarily focused on the work itself, not the fanfic — in particular, we don't want to see lewdness creeping in.

He's the Mage of Mind, if that helps.
Given that the role of a mage is never clearly defined in Homestuck, and supplemental information provides best guesses at best, it doesn't, really.
By best guesses the mage is the counterpart to the seer(Based on Sollux's description of his class needing to 'earn it's stripes like a prophet'), in which case the Mage of Mind is 'one who gains knowledge through logic or decisions', or 'one who spreads knowledge through logic or decisions', which would make him a tactician, of a sort. Or a sacrificial lamb, depending on how the game is feeling about his Myth Arc. Given the role we've seen him in in the show, he's evidently willing to inconvenience himself to give announcements, so he's most likely 'one who spreads knowledge through logic or decisions'.
Of course that said the lands themselves aren't necessarily tied to the Class or Aspect of the person in them. John's Land of Wind and Shade may seem related to his role as Heir of Breath at first, but on further reflection it's unlikely that Breath happens to be the one literal aspect, and it's likely not related to actual wind. Most likely the counterpart to blood, Breath may be tied to motion, freedom, and individuality(as opposed to Blood's domain being relationships and unity).
Similarly, Roses Land of Rain and Light only seems related if you take Light as a literal aspect, which it isn't. Dave and Jade's lands are related, but as the heroes of Time and Space they're a bit of a special case in that their planets need certain elements for the game to be completed or scratched.
A player's planet is tied to their Myth Arc, the trials they must overcome to acheive God Tier(in theory, rarely in practice) and fully evolve into their role as the gods of the universe they create. While the arc is often tied to the class, it's influenced by the player themselves. Unfortunately, we haven't seen the full arc of a Mind or a Mage player. both iterations of Sollux ended in self-sacrifice, but both were also Doom Aspect players, which may influence that. Terezei as a Mind aspect player was characterized by her ability to discern, as a judge, but that may be more related to her Class as a seer...
Basically, none of the roles in Homestuck that haven't been explicity defined(read, none but Theif, Rogue, Prince, Bard, Heart and Void) are stable, and can be used however you feel, within their potential symbolism. Hussie hates worldbuilding anyways. As for the Land itself, base it more on the character arc you want Rumble to have and build a land that can have an objective tied to that.

I sometimes wonder if French maids EVER looked like that at any point.
I doubt it
Blind Final Fantasy 6 Let's Play@Star Ed said who doesn't dress in cosplay these days and I decided to dress in drag. Makes sense.
https://youtu.be/_1F5HhUvFbM?si=csgwerqELcG6615qPerhaps French maids are like French fries, in that they're not actually French?

This "faculty lot" you speak of sounds like a place of great power...
