Yeah. Lion King 2 isn't bad, but I wouldn't put it on the same level as 1.

I have the 4de Twilight plushie. It's cute and good for the price.

Not sure what my favorite Disney movie is. Depends on my mood.

Lion King 2 is certainly the best Disney sequel we've gotten. Well, other than Toy Story 2, but that was back when Pixar wasn't owned by Disney, so I'm not counting it.

Wow, a picture that is both large enough and interesting enough make a poster out of. Problem is, I already have a Luna poster.

Eh, it would have made a really small poster anyway.

What about The Rescuers Down Under?

I prefered the first, but Down Under was still veyr good.

[up]Can't believe I forgot about that one. Yeah, The Rescuers Down Under is also really good. Point I was trying to make is, Disney doesn't make good animated sequels all that often, so Lion King 2 is a welcome exception.

Frozen looks interesting, and everybody says it's really good. But I can already tell that the snowman will be the most annoying comedic relief companion I've ever seen in my life.

@CDRW: Hold on to your mind, because what I'm about to tell you might cause you to lose it.

Sometimes, its possible to put up two posters.tongue

Definitely prefer the second Rescuers movie. It's been awhile, but I sort of remember the first being a bit boring and not all that well animated.

Same. It's a big shame they stopped doing 2d animation.

Cinderella 3 and the Buty and the Beast midquel are actually pretty decent.

@Gwen. Yay! Such an underrated movie. Tiana is a great protagonist and Doctor Facilier is a delightfully creepy villain. It helps he derives his power from a host of eldritch abominations. And the songs are amazing particularly Dig a Little Deeper, Almost There, and Down in New Orleans.

Princess And The Frog was awesome. I'm a sucker for jazz and big band type music (partially because my band sort of specializes in playing it), so I absolutely loved the soundtrack. The characters were great fun to watch as well.

-high fives dark and Zombie- I love the dynamic between Lottie and Tiana too. It's so sweet, I can't believe it gets so little love.

Tangled is pretty good, but Frog was just a far better movie in my mind. Why it gets so much more attention is beyond me.

I've heard it said you could pick out any five minutes of the movie and be amazed at the attention to detail is in the animation.

@CDRW: RE: Frozen Amazingly, Olaf isn't actually that bad. I got ready to cringe when he showed up, but aside from his first song an a small running gag his presence isn't that offensive. The movie could have done WITHOUT him, of course, but he didn't hurt it much.

RE: The original Rescuers: It's a movie I appreciate much more as an adult then as a kid. The movie itself is almost unrelentingly dark, and if you don't grasp why it feels very slow, and if you do as a kid, well then... you probably don't remember that much about it.

Well, Frog kind of got out in the wrong time, being overshadowed by that blue bowl of pretentious cliched 3D piss that is Cameron's Avatar. So not as many people even heard of it. Tangled got better luck in that regard.

@dark: That doesn't surprise me. Plus you can catch a million little references. God, I need to see that movie again.

While it's not a Disney movie, The Prince Of Egypt is definitely one of the most gorgeously animated movies ever.

[up] Oh wow, Ike. I'm sorry to hear that. I don't want to pry but is it serious?

I really need to see that movie again sometime. I wonder if they play it around Easter, the same way they seem to play The Ten Commandments every year.

Having rewatched a lot of the Disney classics in the last year or so, they don't really hold up to my childhood nostalgia (although it's not a catastrophic ruining of my childhood like trying to watch Legend of Zelda or the Mario cartoon were... tongue). Part of it may be in part because I spent a good few years lost in perpetual Wiki Walk over here and I can't look at media the same since. >.>

In general, I think I really favour Wreck-It-Ralph, but I have to admit that the subject matter may create a bit of bias on my part (of course, if it had turned out badly, it would have amplified my dislike just the same). <.<
