A thread to discuss My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic and the tie-in media.
All of the usual forum rules
apply. In addition, please remember that the thread is discussing a kids' show, and it's primarily focused on the work itself, not the fanfic — in particular, we don't want to see lewdness creeping in.

Incidently, didn't Orson Scott Card say that he'd never give up the rights to Enders Game? Whatever happened to that?

He started to become irrelevant and needed a stronger voice so that people wouldn't just pass over his acidic homophobia as the insane drivel it is?
Birthright: an original web novel about Dragons, the Burdens of Leadership, and Mangoes.I just thought of which pony I would like to learn from. I would like to learn how to communicate even better with my dogs from Fluttershy. I think that I'm pretty good at it so far, but I'm sure there are things that she could teach me that I'm completely missing from what they're trying to tell me in their doggie language.

Dunno about that, but he's not getting any royalties from the movie if I remember right.
I'm now okay with Daring Don't.
I love how our fandom can make the stupidest ideas into something incredibly funny.

@CDRW: Not any royalties, no, but it does bring his name back into the public eye, which gives his essays more clout.
In theory anyways, since that movie was supposed to be pretty bad? A bad representation of his books won't help his case in the public eye at any rate.
Birthright: an original web novel about Dragons, the Burdens of Leadership, and Mangoes.Well now, who else expects for good things out of Scootaloo's episode?
Dakota's blog An odd agent of justiceI went an entire summer cooking like only 4 things. Of course one of them was chocolate chip pancakes.

Dakota's blog An odd agent of justice@CDRW: Admittedly not, but in some cases bad press is still good press... the thing is that the more people talk about him, even in a negative light, the more chance there is his stuff will spread to someone who WILL read it, and who WILL be influenced.
Granted those people were probably kinda shitty people anyways, but even still.
Birthright: an original web novel about Dragons, the Burdens of Leadership, and Mangoes.Ah, that would explain it. It's kind of funny that he was worried about Holywood butchering it, and then they did pretty much exactly that.
Don't you mean Waifu? I think you got your pseudo Japaneese memes mixed up.
Blind Final Fantasy 6 Let's PlayThough the thought of Diamond Tiara as a closet weeaboo is hilarious.
Even though Weeaboo kind of precludes closeting by definition.

Well the hobbit approach seems to be to grab random stuff out of the backstory to insert into films about unrelated books.
Incidently, I just realized that using good as the opposite of evil is problematic. What's the opposite of evilest? Best? Goodest?
