A thread to discuss My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic and the tie-in media.
All of the usual forum rules
apply. In addition, please remember that the thread is discussing a kids' show, and it's primarily focused on the work itself, not the fanfic — in particular, we don't want to see lewdness creeping in.

Hey guys, just came back from Reading cuz I was looking for Christmas gift ideas there for aunt and uncle's cousin of mine. As ya know I hate Cars as a Pixar franchise but my cousin on the other hand loves it to death so I figure seeing as it's the Christmas holidays I think "Why the hell not? Seeing as I like being around him I thought I'd get him something for Christmas." I looked around the Disney store for a bit and I'm thinking of getting him a Lightning Mc Queen plushie they had on display. So hopefully I'll be able to get the plushie before I go over to London and see him with my other relatives which will a sort of Christmas lunch over there.

"Transform and Roll out!" Optimus PrimeThen I wonder why the ymmv page has it under Broken Base? I'm sure some are unhappy with it, but that seems a little excessive.
@Dark: Because some people will mark anything that upsets them, personally, as Broken Base, Jumping the Shark, The Scrappy, etc.
Birthright: an original web novel about Dragons, the Burdens of Leadership, and Mangoes.Continuing the read Worm, mostly. Maybe I'll do some studying later.
This. I've never been to the DMOS page, but I've heard it's legendary.
Blind Final Fantasy 6 Let's PlayYeah, I don't touch DMOS with a ten-foot pole. It's basically a pit of refuse for everybody to bitch about anything and everything they don't like. The sole reason for its existence is to keep the crap off the real pages.
Reaction Image RepositoryThat's also a pretty good description for the internet in general.
@Sereg: It's possible, but if that's the case he's almost certainly considered a historical or mythological figure. If say, Celestia was aware that he was out there causing tons of trouble, I have the feeling that she'd try to stop him rather than letting him run wild so that Daring Do can get material for more books.
Reaction Image RepositoryAs far as Celestia is concerned Ahuizotl is probably small fry.
Fight. Struggle. Endure. Suffer. LIVE.Also she might have simply not known about him. Celestia doesn't strike me as the sort of ruler with a ton of spies running around.
Fight. Struggle. Endure. Suffer. LIVE.True. It could also be that she knows Daring can handle it, just as she can trust the Mane Six.
Which again, is an interesting implication raised by the episode that the Mane Six aren't the only heroines protecting Equestria. I love the Hero of Another Story trope.

Uh, it's kind of standard procedure to have guards defending your borders.
800 years of HEAT. Doesn't necessarily involve the sun. Even if it does, she just raises and lowers the thing. Doesn't mean she'd necessarily notice if someone was to hijack a portion of its power.

Fight. Struggle. Endure. Suffer. LIVE.Fuck, I'm freaking out.
I need to start paying off student loans. Actually, I had to start helping mom pay off a parent plus loan (in her name, but we agreed I would be responsible for it) starting in November.
She gave me the paper with the payment amounts, due dates and where to send them.
AND I CAN'T FIND IT ANYWHERE. This is bad. This is VERY bad.

I still haven't gotten around to watching it again. I need to do that asap.
