A thread to discuss My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic and the tie-in media.
All of the usual forum rules
apply. In addition, please remember that the thread is discussing a kids' show, and it's primarily focused on the work itself, not the fanfic — in particular, we don't want to see lewdness creeping in.

Well, time and space are boned.
We don't enforce shootings for using 'Everypony'.

Visit my Tumblr! I may say things. The Bureau ProjectJus wanted to say hi before I go to work. Now I gotta GET OUTTA HERE!
https://youtu.be/_1F5HhUvFbM?si=csgwerqELcG6615qHey JT. I just finally left my apartment for the first time in two days, as we're still iced in. My brother managed to get his little car as far as the gas station down the street.
I don't think my truck would fare anywhere near as well.
Fight. Struggle. Endure. Suffer. LIVE.That bad, huh? It's really cold here, but there hasn't been enough snow to really screw things up, so my flight's on-time. Once I get to Chicago, all bets are off, though.
Anyway, to clarify what I said about the episode last night, I do like that it expanded the setting and made everything less mane-6 centric. The thing is more that they sort of underplayed the risk; they played the whole thing as just "holy crap a real Daring Do adventure!" even though the consequences were honestly pretty dire. It just felt like the cast took the whole deal really lightly despite the fact that the circumstances weren't a whole lot better than say, the Crystal Empire episodes. Like nobody ever really went "Holy Crap Ahuizotl and the Artifacts of Doom are real! We have to stop him!"
But still, it was a good episode and it's probably just my desire for a slightly more consistent setting that's throwing me off a little.
Reaction Image RepositoryHaha, you people living in cold places!
Reminds me of talking to a guy who lives in India, he said they had a season called Flood.
I told him, in California, we have temperature called "Aaah..."
~
So, anywho, anyone feel like helping me come up with Human-based pun names for places? Like ponies have for their places. All I got is Califinger and Toexas so far.
Well the show doesn't usually portray threats as all that dire anyway, so this wasn't much different. Not to mention it was actually a much smaller threat, affecting only a single valley.
I live in Texas. We're not supposed to have to deal with this crap. I can handle the 100 consecutive days of 100+ degree weather, but I don't know what to do about ice...
Fight. Struggle. Endure. Suffer. LIVE.I'm not really mad about fanon, I just wish that we would've gotten more development for Twilight's parents.
