A thread to discuss My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic and the tie-in media.
All of the usual forum rules
apply. In addition, please remember that the thread is discussing a kids' show, and it's primarily focused on the work itself, not the fanfic — in particular, we don't want to see lewdness creeping in.

They probably do most of their sparing off in remote jungles that noone else knows about.

That would likely make them just Inca.
@Enlong: It doesn't really seem that strange when you consider that most of this stuff goes on in remote parts of Equestria (if it indeed is even still in Equestria), and none of the parties involved want it to get out that they are dealing in ancient magical artifacts, precisely because they don't want anyone the sisters involved.

I have a message from another time...Just finished watching the episode. It was a lot of fun, but it felt kinda odd. The whole Indiana Jones vibe with the "Daring Do is Real" thing felt like it wasn't quite integrated into the existing setting very smoothly. I think it's mainly because the cast treats the whole thing kinda weird; apparently there's a lot at stake, but they're more concerned with the novelty of Daring Do being real than the fact that there's a real threat. Like the whole "saving the valley from 800 years of doom" thing was kind of an afterthought. It wasn't a bad episode by any means, but the sudden jump into an adventure story felt a little out of place to me. Maybe it's just because I'm really tired.
Still, the animation was great, the action sequences were handled pretty well, and RD had some amazing expressions, so it was still enjoyable. RD is obviously a stand-in for overzealous fans, which adds a hilarious subtext to pretty much everything she does. Not quite up to the standard of the first few episodes, but still good overall.

Reaction Image RepositoryI just noticed that this map
◊ of Equestria omits the railway to the Crystal Empire.
It has come to my attention that there is a Rainbow Dash page. No, not her character page, one of those self demonstrating articles like we have for some comic book characters... why does that exist? The Rainbow Dash page, that is.
You there! Check out my Youtube Channel! The power of Ponies compel you!I think I like Daring Do's role in the episode and don't have much of a problem with it, as I think it's expanded the world a good deal. The implication that not only are heroes real in Equestria delivering justice, but that it's a big world out there and could very well be necessary for peace. And I like the concept, the Mane Six always saving the day made the world feel rather small, especially before the Crystal Empire showed up.
Hopefully this is making some sense.
Derpy's never actually appeared as a mailmare in the show.
Blind Final Fantasy 6 Let's PlaySo like, idk if i told you guys, but I made ghosty a giant poster for his birfday.
i think i mostly want to see what happens when this whole place breaks apart

That's not really applicable. I mean if I were them I might not have beleived RD either.
