A thread to discuss My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic and the tie-in media.
All of the usual forum rules
apply. In addition, please remember that the thread is discussing a kids' show, and it's primarily focused on the work itself, not the fanfic — in particular, we don't want to see lewdness creeping in.

Sorry, small detail, but the inside of Dash's house: How much money does that girl fucking make!? She's got a fucking foyer! With Pillars! And statues!
Birthright: an original web novel about Dragons, the Burdens of Leadership, and Mangoes.i enjoyed it. even though our Daring Do character page is all but scrapped, i like this episode.
@dark: the first copy of the newest Daring Do book: Daring Do and the Ring of Destiny. the coolest thing? RD is on the cover with her hero.

All things are lawful for me, but all things are not expedient: all things are lawful for me, but all things edify not.So, isn't it a tad frightening that a villain from a book was real all along, and he may just come back with something else?
Visit my Tumblr! I may say things. The Bureau Project@dark: The new Daring Do book, with Dash in it.
Visit my Tumblr! I may say things. The Bureau Project@Starscream: i think it was, yeah. but man, did it throw our Just for Fun page for a loop.
All things are lawful for me, but all things are not expedient: all things are lawful for me, but all things edify not.@ Kegi, well it is a Cloud House, so she likely just used scraps of clouds and built up over time. Lot cheaper then needing to build with real material.
So the episode, it was great. Just, again with having so SO many little details, so many great things, Dash's fangirling, her emotional turn, her self doubt and issues returning in a believable fashion, HELL YES!
I dunno, maybe, but they sure looked like real stone.
Then again, in another episode the stone inside her front door was beige, not blue, so maybe it's possible to dye clouds and she changes up the interior now and again.
Or they were different doors, I dunno.
Either way, the zoning on a house her size must not be inconsiderable...
Birthright: an original web novel about Dragons, the Burdens of Leadership, and Mangoes.@Crimson Okay then, I'll watch it on You Tube when it's available I guess.
"Transform and Roll out!" Optimus Prime@Kegi and Crowfall: Dashie customized her house with blocks of cloud Terraria style :D (yes, you can get Cloud Blocks and Cloud Block Backgrounds to make Cloud Houses a real thing, I've done that now that Version 1.2 is out!)
The three finest things in life are to splat your enemies, drive them from their turf, and hear their lamentations as their rank falls!@crimsonstorm 15: I'd say the entirety of the book series under Daring Do has been scrapped as we got information on several of the books during Twilight and Dash's Egghead Battle. And even Daring Do's personality in this episode probably a little closer to the page's Derring Do than Daring Do.
As for the episode itself, I was waiting for the moment when A.K. Yearling would reveal this to be all one elaborate setup to overcome her writer's block. So the Daring Do series is actually real then...

Interesting comment on EQD:
The middle of the episode was a satire on how much the fandom bugs the crap out of the people who write the show, and a narrative on how if the fans had their way, disaster will happen.
The finale of the episode was a narrative on how even though the fandom can be embarrassing and just plain in the way, the writers are nothing without their fans.
@Dash's new face: Oh dear... the Unfortunate Implications...
Anywho, I'm rather unsure how to think of this episode truth be told.

So what did Dashy get at the end?
