A thread to discuss My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic and the tie-in media.
All of the usual forum rules
apply. In addition, please remember that the thread is discussing a kids' show, and it's primarily focused on the work itself, not the fanfic — in particular, we don't want to see lewdness creeping in.

@Japanese Teeth I know, first she's interested in classical music, then she takes me to a fancy restaurant and now she speaks french. Like I told her on the date, she amazes me the more I keep talking to her.
@Marcen To be honest she's showing a lot of hidden depths that I didn't know and quite frankly I'd say it went well.

"Transform and Roll out!" Optimus Prime@Pirate ponies: That might have been from me, but I don't remember. While I don't post as much, I actually read through the thread pretty much every day, so I'm following the conversations even if I don't post in them. I just don't like to post for the sake of posting something, and I generally like to stay on the topic of ponies rather than just posting about whatever.
@Donkey-pony relationships: I'm not sure, because they haven't been shown in the series itself. However, there doesn't seem to be a problem with donkeys being friends with ponies, so they're not discriminated against in that regard (going by A Friend in Deed), nor are they excluded from fancy social events such as the Gala. There might be a bit of some prejudice against mules, going by some of the comments made in the stories. Rainbow Dash's "be cool or be mule", Twilight comparing Applejack's stubbornness to a mule, and Rarity crying that "mules are old and ugly" in A Dog and Pony Show. However, some of it may be the writers using common phrases like "stubborn as a mule" that would be used in human conversation and not necessarily thinking about how it would really translate to an equine world where mules are part of the society.
Then there's Mulia Mild who doesn't seem to be treated any different than the other bakers. Maybe if there is prejudice, it's more mild than the kind of racism humans unfortunately have to deal with, since it doesn't seem like mules and donkeys are discriminated against in a "we won't let you in this place" kind of way.
I guess I have arthritis (or something) in my left knee now. It's been bothering me off-and-on for about a month now. The other day was the worst, to the point where I didn't know if it was going to hold my weight when I stood up. It's quite a bit better now, but I think I need to schedule x-rays.

Also, Palindrome Page! Damn it.
I put my friend in a coconut! He lives in my hat! Hey, come hang out!Yes?
Two Pannic Pages in such close succession...
You know, it sounds like all the sterotypical fancy stuff. I wonder how much of it is a facade.

https://youtu.be/_1F5HhUvFbM?si=csgwerqELcG6615qWhy not just fix the can opener in place and move the can around it?
Blind Final Fantasy 6 Let's Play@ Ace: Can openers were obviously invented by unicorns.
@Yeller: Fluttershy doesn't know that.
@Syd: Maybe they're of Gryphon origin.

The three finest things in life are to splat your enemies, drive them from their turf, and hear their lamentations as their rank falls!Why hasn't the new episode been leaked yet? Do they really expect me to wait 'til Saturday?
@Story: You wouldn't be able to get the same leverage and you'd probably end up making a mess. A mechanical can opener would be way more useful.
