A thread to discuss My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic and the tie-in media.
All of the usual forum rules
apply. In addition, please remember that the thread is discussing a kids' show, and it's primarily focused on the work itself, not the fanfic — in particular, we don't want to see lewdness creeping in.

Blind Final Fantasy 6 Let's Play
Looking at the context, it's talking about Starscream 759 complaining about being compared to Ginger and how he's not fond of that.
I think that's good enough of an explanation, no need to expound on that, especially when Ginger's back.
Sera was, funny enough, in the running for being the new Ginger back then, considering his ability to make pages upon pages appear out of nowhere.
I also don't really have good memories of Sera, just know him from that one Miko debate in the Order of the Stick thread.
Trans rights are human rights. TV Tropes is not a place for bigotry, cruelty, or dickishness, no matter who or their position.
But zombies are co-no, no. Honestly, the situations that zombies usually precipitate are the interesting thing about zombies. It's the "Apocalypse" in "Zombie Apocalypse" that interests me, the downfall of civilization and having to rewrite the social contract from word one.

Which part? I was just rambling about why zombie apocalypses are more interesting to me then the actual zombies.
"But zombies are cool" "No, zombie apocalypses are more interesting."

Yeah, Hasbro still occasionally makes new G3 ponies for special events. I think they're meant to appeal to MLP fans who don't like the G4 ponies.

Blind Final Fantasy 6 Let's PlayI can't believe I'm just seeing this interesting comment from this here video
just now. ^_^;;
This episode literally is a twenty minute copy of "Wallace And Gromit: The Curse Of The Were-Rabbit".
-The home of the heroes is being invaded by hungry pests.
(rabbits/vampire fruitbats)
-The heroes try to alter the pest's nature to stop them from eating whatever they eat.
(Wallace's brainwashing machine/ Twilight's spell)
-The experiment seems successful at first, but somehow the overnight raids continue.
(Townspeople's vegetables/Applejack's orchard)
-It is revealed that instead of dissappearing altogether, the pest's behavior somehow infused itself into the one component that helped alter them in the first place.
(Wallace/Fluttershy)
-Their friend decides to sacrifice their treasured growth meant for a competition to help turn back their friend.
(Gromit's giant Zucchini/Applejack's giant apple)
SHAMELESS.

And I'm going to be honest here? 9 times out of ten game designers know shit about what it's possible to do in their game. Seriously. Especially for a strategy game, someone will find ways to do something you never intended - it's so prevalent that it happens in almost every game, and we even have a term for it: Emergent Gameplay. you build a mechanic, and the player uses it in a way you didn't expect, often so much so that the game becomes almost about that.
What was Ra's deal anyways? Wasn't it like a giant 'fuck you' card or something?

- I don't recall the MLP episode having Fluttershy stand naked in a box with the phrase "May contain nuts" on it though.
Is it my imagination or has this show been getting mentioned in Wikipedia's "Did you know?" section a lot lately?
Come on! Let's bless them all until we get fershnickered!Post of the Day #3434
Also, a vote for me is a vote for Harley Quinn to strip in front of the entire country. You know the guys will just love it!

Blind Final Fantasy 6 Let's PlayHas anyone else seen the Black Widow movie?
At the beginning, when they land in Cuba in 1995, the little sister is suddenly holding a large Twilight Sparkle toy, despite the fact that the scene is supposed to take place in 1995. There's even one point where it's right in front of the camera, taking up the entire bottom left corner of the screen (which is how I noticed it). What were they thinking?

I don’t care enough about this to vote the image up or down, but I’m personally not a fan of it just because I dislike the idea of attributing real world religious (or political) affiliations to the characters, especially if it’s used as a way for the author to filibuster about their beliefs.
Even if I agreed with the religion/philosophy in question, I wouldn’t be a fan, whether it’s Muslim Fluttershy, Atheist Twilight, Hindu Dash, Catholic Pinkie, or whatever. Doubly so considering those things don’t exist in Equestria anyway.
Tl:Dr whether or not I agree with it, I don't like projecting religion onto the characters.
