So it would make sense to borrow it again if they ever returned.
Blind Final Fantasy 6 Let's Playtfw you write a scene about a character's greatest desire, find yourself getting emotional over it, and then realize that deep down, it's also something you really want too.
Scene in question is a character's brief Imagine Spot where he sees himself laying his daughter down to sleep for the night. Reread the scene a few minutes later, found myself getting a little choked up, and realized I didn't really intend for this scene to happen, but I kinda gave Nova Shine the same deep desire for a family of his own that I have.
Dammit, I shouldn't have gotten into this hobby, it's making me feel things.

Qui odoratus est qui fecit.Mind you, the show immediately pokes fun at Scootaloo's imagine spot by giving the other two girls' perspective on the underwater scene. Which they find rather empty and boring.
Which is absolutely true for the vast majority of the ocean, by the way. It's effectively a desert made out of water, with the occasional underwater island or oasis of life.

Blind Final Fantasy 6 Let's PlayWhat's the context there? Fanfics?

Trans rights are human rights. TV Tropes is not a place for bigotry, cruelty, or dickishness, no matter who or their position.I haven't been able to watch the series since season 8 since I don't have Discovery Family anymore, but I saw the finale just now. It's so weird thinking that the show is done. It's been around nine years and it was such an influential fandom... It's weird to think that there won't be any more new episodes.
FIM isn't even the type of show you're "supposed" to watch from start to end. Most of the target audience circa 2010 probably outgrew it years ago, but the teenage and adult fans kept on watching.

Looking back, it's kinda hilarious that Tirek was the member of the Mean Three who had the most Villainous Virtues, pragmatism and redeeming qualities at least compared to Chryssi and Cozy, given how his G1 self was a Complete Monster with zero redeeming qualities or pragmatism whose ultimate plan would've brought the end to all life on Earth/Ponyland.
Just a fun thought I had.
"Bingo! If two species hate each other, they will wipe each other out on their own."It is interesting how they made Tirek the sensible one in the final. Shame the other two wouldn't listen.
Blind Final Fantasy 6 Let's PlayIf the other two were as pragmatic a Tirek they might've actually won. Too bad Chrysalis' ego and Cozy's recklessness dragged Tirek's pragmatism down.
Funny how the usual candidate for Dumb Muscle out of the villains was the sanest and most reasonable one in the end.
"Bingo! If two species hate each other, they will wipe each other out on their own."What's the context there? Fanfics?
Turns out it was actually talking about the MLP IDW comics. I guess that's back when they first started coming out.
Blind Final Fantasy 6 Let's PlayI read them for a while. Think I got to the Reflections arc before I stopped. Not that I didn't like them, but they were kind of a pain to collect.
Qui odoratus est qui fecit.I only ever got the first one. I think I bought a Humble Bundle with the comics at some point, but never got around to trying to read those.
From what I've heard, Reflections was a good place to stop though.
Blind Final Fantasy 6 Let's PlayI should probably rewatch Season 9 again sometime, because I realized that there was supposed to be a subtle building up towards the conflict of the finale that I didn't realize the first time I watched it. When you know that Grogar is actually Discord, it probably makes you see everything differently, from Grogar being Out of Focus to him not noticing the bell the three were hiding to Discord's Genre Blindness of not thinking that the Villain Team-Up he was planning was going to turn on him.

Thomas fans needed! Come join me in the the show's cleanup thread!Yeah, that does make the whole thing look more sensical in hindsight, because only Discord could be that Lethally Stupid and Genre Blind...
"Bingo! If two species hate each other, they will wipe each other out on their own."Well we don't know what Grogar was like, so it was plausible that he would underestimate the three.
Blind Final Fantasy 6 Let's PlayNot really, from what we saw. He clearly had no compunctions about monitoring people in his first episode.
And he sure seemed like an actual new villain in the season opening, not just Discord in disguise. Absolutely no one was like, hey, this guy reminds me of Discord.
I still think it's a bad twist with vague enough buildup that it could have gone either way.
Optimism is a duty.Yeah, the first episode didn't really seem to build up him as Discord. Perhaps it was meant to e the biggest Red Herring of the Season, but it wasn't really that clear at first that the Three Stooges were our endgame villains and that "Grogar" wasn't even real.
It's almost as if "Grogar" in Beginning of the End is a completely different character from the one in the rest of the Season.
"Bingo! If two species hate each other, they will wipe each other out on their own."Yes, that's what it feels like to me, too. He clearly is the main villain in that first two parter, but for the rest of the season, he suddenly sidelines himself from the plot for no particular reason.
Optimism is a duty.It might be yet another case of the merch Hasbro wanted to sell just veering right from the show's plans. We had that happen in Season 4, when the writers clearly wanted Twiggles' new castle to be the Old Castle, only for surprise, eyesore magic treehouse!

Blind Final Fantasy 6 Let's PlayYeah, it's rapidly becoming a discredited trope. Just imagine making Pepe Le Pew shorts, or Johnny Bravo in this day and age of increased awareness and sensitivity toward some of the unintentional misogyny that appeared in old serials. Bravo might work simply because he gets walloped all the time for his antics, but Le Pew would never fly.
I'm glad Dashie didn't end up with Zephyr, and frankly, I'm glad the most we saw of him after his episode was a brief cameo by request of Ashleigh and Andrea in an episode full of their little requests.
Qui odoratus est qui fecit.Given that Dash disliked Zephyr from the start, I don't think they were ever meant to end up together. Zephyr was supposed to come across as a loser. They just didn't realize how uncomfortable it might seem.
Blind Final Fantasy 6 Let's PlayTo me, it kind of felt like there was an unintentional case of This Loser Is You. Zephyr reminded me too much of the "nice guys" that plague the internet as a whole, and his appearance reminded me too much of several members of the fandom I see around at cons.
Qui odoratus est qui fecit.
They used the magic from Terramar's pearl fragment.
