A thread to discuss My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic and the tie-in media.
All of the usual forum rules
apply. In addition, please remember that the thread is discussing a kids' show, and it's primarily focused on the work itself, not the fanfic — in particular, we don't want to see lewdness creeping in.

You disguised yourself as a droid? Reminds me of Darths And Droids.
Blind Final Fantasy 6 Let's PlayHow would Superman even go about moving the sun? Regardless of whether or not he's strong enough to move something that massive, it isn't like the sun has somewhere for him to grab onto.
What little I've played of the Star Wars game was really fun, and I wish I knew a group of people who are more into tabletop gaming.
No no, I was playing as a droid. I just pretended I was a repair droid instead of a battle droid. Being a droid actually turned out to be fairly useful a lot of the time. I managed to avoid being caught by pretending to be malfunctioning at least twice.
Birthright: an original web novel about Dragons, the Burdens of Leadership, and Mangoes.Seeing as he can manipulate time by flying fast, I don't think he cares about puny things like physics.
Blind Final Fantasy 6 Let's PlayHi, I'm looking for the thread about pretty pastel ponies. Could someone tell me where to go?
I put my friend in a coconut! He lives in my hat! Hey, come hang out!that hasn't been the case for decades and you know it. -__-
All things are lawful for me, but all things are not expedient: all things are lawful for me, but all things edify not.Even if he does have a solid power level, the upper reaches and the beings that exist there are so vague that he may as well be as strong as the plot needs him to be. Hell, Superman himself is a measuring stick in the DC universe more than anything.
Birthright: an original web novel about Dragons, the Burdens of Leadership, and Mangoes.I've read that even Albert Einstein had trouble filling out tax forms.
I put my friend in a coconut! He lives in my hat! Hey, come hang out!Well, he does have a semi-canonical justification for his varying power levels. He's solar powered, and so his limits will vary based on how much energy he's currently getting from the Sun.
He does still have some pretty out-there abilities, though. (I know there was one somewhat recent story where he was able to see a person's soul.)
Another KY Mer was gonna be here later, but it seems he got hit by a truck. He's okay, but if any of ya got a KYM account, I think a visit would be good to check up on him.

That's because he's a stronger brand. It's the same reason Mario gets more attention then say Donkey Kong.
Blind Final Fantasy 6 Let's Play@Starscream: Wonder Woman is considered one of the 'big three' of DC's heroes but has never really made it out of that given Hollywood's inability to do Female Action heroes properly for some reason(she'd actually make a solid video game protagonist though, which makes it confusing she's never been touched on, but hey. with WBG Montreal hinting at A Suicide Squad Game the universe of games might be expanding.
Green Lantern had a pretty abysmal first movie outing but also got a relatively popular and pretty decent Cartoon.
Flash receives no love because it's hard to make superspeed interested in a fully-motion medium - plus it's hard to continually explain why he doesn't beat everyone up in the blink of an eye(Though most of his Rogues are tailored to make speed either not as useful or downright hazardous.)
But yeah, it is a shame that Batman and Superman get the lion share of non-comic media attention when there's much more interesting characyters. Hell, I'd argue Bat-girl is more interesting than Batman.
Birthright: an original web novel about Dragons, the Burdens of Leadership, and Mangoes.@Story I'd like to think that it's because he's the poster boy for heroism in the DC universe that is. And quite frankly the only superhero that is popular because DC comics don't have faith in their other heroes.
@Dark Oh yeah I forget Green Lantern had a movie and now recently has a CGI cartoon series. What I don't get is that they allow Wonder Woman, Green Lantern and The Flash onto things related to Justice League yet when we are talking solo gigs, DC's all like: "Noooo we can't have that! We need more Superman and Batman!" just because they are big brands.

"Transform and Roll out!" Optimus PrimeAnother KY Mer was gonna be here later, but it seems he got hit by a truck.
Wait, what?
Jeez.
The Martian Manhunter is just silly. What kind of lame secret weakness is oreos? And then they had to keep retconning him once they realized there was no life on Mars.
Has anyone read Dresden Codak's reimmainged version of the DC heroes? It sounds much more interesting.
Blind Final Fantasy 6 Let's PlayDon't make me make another one of these jokes.

Dakota's blog An odd agent of justice

Yeah, the Star Wars game was kind of awesome for that Because there was so much variety in what you could do, a lot of really crazy stuff could wind up happening. The original plan for taking out the destroyer was that I would sneak on board as a repair droid and link up a bunch of canisters containing an inert gas that, when exposed to electrolysis(Which space staions use to make their oxygen) would turn into one of the most toxic substances in the world. Then I'd wait for everyone to die.
But that didn't work, so we wound up flying around a giant battleship in a tiny freighter, when one of the other guys suggested I jump at it with a lightsaber... which was great fun until I realized that if I could land on the bridge I could make the ship unpilotable - and possibly kill the commanding crew.
Other bizarrely awesome moments from that campaign included me dangling from a moving truck by grabbing my severed arm that was holding onto the truck, and our pilot and doctor narrowly dodging a Total Party kill... by putting on seatbelts in a crashing prison ship.
