A thread to discuss My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic and the tie-in media.
All of the usual forum rules
apply. In addition, please remember that the thread is discussing a kids' show, and it's primarily focused on the work itself, not the fanfic — in particular, we don't want to see lewdness creeping in.

@Yami: It's gonna be all over until next year.
Visit my Tumblr! I may say things. The Bureau Project@Dark: Trying to figure out how all the books relate to each other pretty much has its own field of study. Each of the gospels was written by a different person to a different audience who was trying to get a different point across, so as a result they all included different details and focused on different aspects of the same events. It doesn't help that pretty much all of them prioritize their theological points over being an accurate historical account, which is basically the opposite of how modern journalism is supposed to work. It can get pretty confusing.
@Seraphem: Yeah, for the most part S2 of GF blows the first one out of the water. The first one is good, but S2 really cranks it up. S1 is largely scene-setting with only a handful of Myth Arc episodes. S2 starts to really focus more on it.
Also, dang I hadn't realized how close we are to the end of the season. Crap and GF is coming close to wrapping as well; Star Vs is between seasons... dangit what am I supposed to watch?

Plus, the implication of "The fact that she's not the real Pinkie means that it's okay to kill her" sickened me.
(uses your Omniscient Database called Google to find out what the fuck is a Gyaos)
So... how do you humanize that?
The sparkle is gone, see me shimmer on~The same way you humanize anything, I guess.
@Dark: Games like Freedom Planet and Shovel Knight sound tough because they require real time perception and reaction. Maybe turn based strategy games would work better?

Blind Final Fantasy 6 Let's PlayAnd the first thing I thought of for humanizing that is that fruity rapist douche from Berserk.
The sparkle is gone, see me shimmer on~![]()
Well in regards to fruity bastards, there was also that one creepy old dude who had a massive thing for Griffith.
Since someone mentioned Berserk, I have to link to the hilariously bad opening song from the otherwise excellent anime.

I started Ash Vs the Evil Dead on Saturday. I loved watching that. Problem is I don't have Starz. So I'm gonna have to go to Nannie's to see it.
Other then that, I know Wander is still on. And I think Gumball will return. Problem with those are they have as bad as a schedule as GF. At least Gumball might get another "New episode bomb" thing.
Also, finished watching a playthrough of Until Dawn. From a technical standpoint I think it's better then Quantic Dream's games, but I personally wasn't a huge fan of the characters or plot. I thought they were mostly alright, but I couldn't really get real attached to them. Best character was Peter Stormare's. He does a great job of being a creep. The first half of the game was alright, but I wasn't a big fan of the second half. I know theirs foreshadowing and all to it, but I just wasn't that impressed or invested in it.
Really it feels like what a Quantic Dream/David Cage game should be, both in terms of gameplay and writing. Mostly that is. With Until Dawn I at least gave a damn when people in the game were in trouble or when they get killed. The QTE's weren't as stupid or over present, but those "don't move the controller" things seem like a bitch to do cause of how sensitive the controller is. Graphics were great, but that's to be expected with a console like PS 4. Voice Acting was great. Though I can't say it'd be a game I'd go out and buy if I had a PS 4 or if it was on another console. I'd probably either wait for a price drop, sale, or red box it. Other then that, no.
My Tumblr "If theirs one thing I'm good at, it's blowing" Jesse Cox 2013The fanfic was basically dimensional hopping. Godzilla and friends get sucked into Equestria and get turned into ponies or other assorted Equestrian life.
Plus, the Gyaos and Monster X went to your universe, so they had to blend in. The guy who writes it is a pretty big TV Tropes follower, so who knows, he might comment on here.
Have you any dreams you'd like to sell?

I have heard of games designed to be primarily sound-based, largely for the sake of blind players, but... sadly I don't actually know of any of them directly, just through hearsay...
