Clubbing has always kind of confused me. I don't do it, and I want to not give a shit, but its constant presence in media makes me feel like I should. So I sort of end up wanting to go clubbing even though I know it's the kind of thing I'd probably hate, or at least make me feel really awkward.
I would feel the latter, man.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3u8p-tnJWGoJust saw Inside Out. I really liked it.
Not in a "holy shit, you have to watch it right now you guys!", kind of thing, but in a more quiet, thoughtful way.
I liked all of the characters and appreciated the wide differences from other Disney/Pixar films. The emotional and psychological aspects worked very well. It's a small, private little story and isn't a world-destroying threat.
Also helps that it wasn't hyped all that much compared with Frozen, so it was much easier taking it on its own merits.

Relationships aren't for me. My dream is to die a spinster.
Trust you? The only person I can trust is myself.I've honestly never seen the appeal of clubbing. Like, I look at it, and go "Why exactly would I want to do this?" It's not that there's anything wrong with it, I just don't think I'd really enjoy any aspect of it. I'd much rather just stay at home and like, try my hand at making some homemade cheese. And I'm serious. I found a recipe for homemade mozzarella and I'm seriously considering trying it out.
Reaction Image Repository@dark: This is why you should go to all movies immediately, so there's no time for hype aversion to set in. Yes, all movies.
Make sure you get a lot of cats. Like, two dozen cats at least.
I would not trust myself with making cheese. I'd probably just end up with a bunch of curdled milk stuffed with bacteria.

I went clubbing a few times, and I actually found it kind of fun. Plus, once I met a guy, asked him out and realized that I had no idea what to do. So I told him I'd call him back with plans, but could never get a hold of him. So I called him every day for a month. So now I have a fun story about that time I was super good at getting a guy's interest but super bad at following up.
But no, seriously. It's kinda fun to do every so often, cause dancing and music and drinks, but if you're not into any of those things, or crowds, then it's pretty lame. Plus, there's always the chance that some weird 35 year old guy will start chatting you up and get a bit too handsy and ask you to buy him drugs.
I feel like gay people clubbing stories probably have a different tone that straight people clubbing stories.
Birthright: an original web novel about Dragons, the Burdens of Leadership, and Mangoes. This, pretty much. I'm not into any of those things. Well, I listen to music, but I'd much rather pick my own music than having the DJ do it.
Reaction Image RepositoryI'd like a relationship, but I doubt it's ever going to happen because I hate dating and don't have any interests, hobbies, or life circumstances that bring me into company with the opposite sex.
I flip flop in terms of wanting a relationship.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3u8p-tnJWGoI still haven't figured what you get out of a relationship that you can't get out of a close friendship. Besides kissing, which I don't care for.
Trust you? The only person I can trust is myself.Never mind.

I'd like to be in a relationship if the right person comes along, but I don't have much initiative to go out and find somebody just for the sake of being in one.
On a side note, I think it says something that all of the recipes I look up on my own tend to be unhealthy.

Reaction Image RepositoryBack from the interview, everyone. I think it went well but with it being just on the weekends and those bits when I'd be on call during the week if I do get it I doubt I'll stick with it for long.
That is the face of a man who just ate a kitten. Raw.Ugh, I ate too much at a chinese resteraunt and now I feel sick. This sucks.
Can anyone think of a movie or something they saw that added in an antagonist who really wasn't nesseceary for the film/show/whatever and instead might have detracted from the work? I'll name Frozen and Interstellar as two examples. Now yes, it was interesting to see the former subvert the "Nice charming prince" trope by making him into a wannabe Game Of Thrones villain, but Hans is a rather weak character and not much would be lost if he was taken out.

Final Fantasy 6: So, on to Darill's Tomb.
Still nothing there... oh. If you walk up to the front there's a dungeon.
Celes has a skull by her status and 0hp. Wonder what happened.
I think I'll try ot kill off Edgar and Setzer now.
Oh, she must be a zombie.
Gave Sabin the amulet due to all the poison and zombieness going around.
There's a blank tombstone. I was tempted to try carving Elbreth, but I think I'll leave it until I've had a look around.
I just realized you can attack your own teammates! That will make K Oing party members SOOO much easier.
Setzer just attacked himself.
Edgar and Setzer are now K Oed. I decided to leave Celes up since she really needs training to catch up due to the fact that I trained her in the past (ironic, isn't it?).
There's a turtle. I'm guessing that I have to raise the water level of this chamber.
Ok, there's no way I have time for this now. Guess I'll leave off for next time.
Some other things I didn't get around to commenting about earlier:
Until near the end of the dinner scene, I genuinely thought Gestahl had pulled a Heel–Face Turn. Of course, that was mainly because I knew that Kefka was the true villian. I figured he would break out and go all stabby stabby and bring Gestahl Redemption Equals Death. Of course, it wouldn't take much of a change to bring about that interpertation since Gestahl wasn't present at the attack on Thamas. All you'd have to do is add an animation of Kefka backstabbing Gestahl and then edit him out of the Floating Contient cutscenes.
I also wonder why Young Lad was never given a name, since he seems at least as important as Lola, who did get named.
In the cast of The Last Airbender, it was such a huge diasaster that there are too many things wrong with it to name. Noone even cares that Sokka is a mute or whatever because that's the least of its problems.
Well that answers that.
Blind Final Fantasy 6 Let's PlayI was listening to the Undertale song Kegisak posted earlier (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fh4aMniXMAw), and keep hearing Final Fantasy.
Does anyone else hear a Final Fantasy theme in there? It's like the core beat is just slightly off from one of the FF songs.
P.S. I found the part it reminded me of. It's about a minute into FF13's Blinded By the Light. Not that I ever listened to the FF 13 soundtrack, but they used that music in the 16bit recap video which I did watch.
Blind Final Fantasy 6 Let's PlayAh the tomb, one of my favorite moments from the game.
"No will to break."@marston: I can think of a few MLP fanfics like that. Trails And Trials is the first that comes to mind. For the most part, it's a cute story about Derpy befriending the mane six. But an early chapter, in a rather cheap ploy to make Derpy into The Woobie, introduces a coworker who pretty much acts like a grade-school bully—and did I mention all these characters are adults? And then in the most recently published chapter, said coworker reappears and starts spreading rumors to drive a wedge between Derpy and the mane six. For no real reason, just because she's a jerk.
And then there's Austraeoh. Hoo boy. See, it starts off as a story about Rainbow Dash flying east, having adventures in random communities she encounters along the way. We get bits and pieces of an explanation of why she's traveling—something about an ancient civilization, and a great power at the eastern edge of the world, and how something very, very bad happened back in Ponyville. But in part two of the saga, Eljunbyro, Rainbow winds up in the clutches of a dystopian unicorn society, where one General Shell (maybe I'm misremembering his name, but I don't care enough to look it up) is convinced he can use Rainbow as a weapon of mass destruction. (It Makes Sense in Context.) With the help of some new allies, Rainbow eventually escapes and beats Shell in a one-on-one fight. If Shell had died there, all would have been well and good—but he didn't, and he pursued Rainbow and pals and they fled further east. Eljunbyro ends with another big confrontation where Shell either should have died, or should have been left for dead by his own soldiers, but neither of those happened. That was the point where I realized the author was really committed to making Shell the ongoing antagonist (and thus a huge distraction from the really interesting stuff: Rainbow's original quest east), and where Shell went from "interesting character but horrible person" to "annoying character". I mentally told the story "One more strike and you're out, buster." (And then the first chapter of the next sequel focused on yet another new character and yet another new subplot. So I quit reading.)
As for movies... I can think of a few I watched when I was younger. As pointed out in The Family for the Whole Family trope page, there was an odd tendency for 90s PG-rated comedies to include a subplot about mobsters, with only the most tenuous connection to the main plot, purely as an excuse to have an action scene in the movie's climax.

I didn't write any of that.I watched Inside Out on the flight back from vacation. Of course I probably didn't enjoy it as much as I might due to the jetlag and nausea.
Blind Final Fantasy 6 Let's PlaySpeaking of Final Fantasy 6, I just watched Colin go through a Magi Tower. Apparently he has never once beating the tower without using an item that negates random encounters.
We are all made of star stuff. Very, very weird star stuff.I still need to see that one. I'm not very good at getting movies on time.
And now I need to get to bed.
