On one hand, I'm disappointed that it didn't get a full series, on the other I'm optimistic. Mainly because it's a bold move for CN to go into straight up video game originals, a move that's just as likely to result in a whole string of fantastic games coming out (a la Adult Swim Games) or to be canned entirely, which could in the way long run put LPT on the air.

See, this is why I like Cartoon Network. They're never afraid to experiment.
Have you any dreams you'd like to sell?Okay, now I'm straight up confused. I was going around some places talking about LPT (/r/stevenuniverse among them), and people seem to be treating the game as simply a precursor to the full series. I assumed that we were getting the game in the place of the series, but at the same time either scenario is very much possible.
So I guess the only real solution is to stay tuned for further answers.

They did it with Monsters Ate My Birthday Cake.
"We be we baby!"I have no idea what that is.
Anyway, something I didn't throw in my first impressions of the game, I guess if I have any real gripes, it'd be how K.O. keeps looking cross-eyed for some reason.
Not sure if that's an artistic choice (though unlikely) or just a screw-up that they can fix up later.
He's cross-eyed in a piece of promotional art. Jones-Quartey loves funny, weirdly drawn faces, so it probably is intentional.
Lol. You can find posters of Steven Universe in the game.
Also I love everything about the game but the controls. Controls feel weird.
I'll say, this is the fastest I've ever been sold on a universe. Even SU took me a few episodes to roll in, but I wasn't that far in the game when it just clicked for me. It just seems so, well, radical.
There's some new minisodes!
This one's on K.O.'s mom, Carol!
And a different one!
I followed a person on tumblr who worked on that second video. She's got some awesome art if you guys wanna check it out. http://temmiechang.tumblr.com/
"That's a to-go order. See! It's already gone!!"She also did art work for Undertale.
Well, she's being followed by yours truly on tumblr!
This is great! Glad it hasn't been forgotten.
"We be we baby!"x3 Really? That's awesome! Like they actually worked on the game?
"That's a to-go order. See! It's already gone!!"WOW! The animation on this show is so cute yet so awesome, so fluid and stretchy. I love it.

"Rad's Van"
IT'S HAPPENING. A Lakewood Plaza Turbo aka. OK K.O. series is officially coming to Cartoon Network after all this time!
"Wonder if Lexie's gonna be free after his shift today..."Intro (storyboarded by Kill la Kill director and co-founder of Studio TRIGGER, Hiroyuki Imaishi):
REJOICE!!
"We be we baby!"I'm getting strong Dragon Ball vibes from that theme. Something about it reminds me of the theme to the original series.
And now I have the theme to Dragon Ball stuck in my head, crap.
Have you any dreams you'd like to sell?YEEEAAAAAHHHH, BABY!
has a clue, but it's usually not the correct one 0.55% of the timeI think that the protagonist is actually played by Kid Goku's dub actress.
He is. And my god this looks amazing! I'd be extremely surprised If Hiroyuki will be on the staff full time for this! This would really make the show worth my time!
"We be we baby!"
All right, I took some time to play the game.
First impressions say...it's actually pretty darn fun.
And yeah, it does have ads, but the game sort of works around it by having it be from a robot named Barry who works with the Advanced Delivery Systems (I think that's what it was.)
Oh yeah, there's also Quick Time Events sprinkled in the game. Only seen two so far, but I think it's fair to say that there's more where those came from.
Beyond that, so far so good.
