Hob wouldn't have enough demolitions knowledge to know for sure if it has a dead-man trigger from visual inspection (Laira would know it doesn't - can't have overworked slaves dying from exhaustion and blowing up your walls), but in any case he's got his hand gripping the thing, ready to pull it any second.

It's a lot easier to give descriptions out-of-character since I can use real world references a lot more, so I'll describe the truck itself here. I'm imagining the landspeeder equivalent of an older-model half-ton pickup truck. The closest thing I could find on the Star Wars wiki was this one
which looks like it's a wagon made out of wood so that seems to be a bit jarring to the setting,
So just imagine it sort of resembles Luke's landspeeder
in shape, but 4.5 meters long, with a truck bed of around 2.25 meters instead of that big-ass turbine engine on the top (there'd still be the two side ones, though). Basically it seats two comfortably (or three uncomfortably), and while you can put a decent amount of stuff there, it's the low end as far as things go, so it's not like one of those one-ton F350 beasts. You can expect it to be able to carry a total of 500kg/1100lbs in addition to the driver.
TL,DR: Your characters would think of it similar to how you or I would think of an old beat-up version of this
◊.
Hey I was doing some thinking about equipment. It won't be too long before you guys can loot/buy stuff, so there'd have to be some idea of what you can actually carry around with you. I wouldn't pay too much attention to miscellaneous things like medpacs, repair kits, shield generators, spikes, grenades, tools, datapads, etc, just try to keep it under a dozen things or so. I'm not gonna be super anal about the random stuff unless you get into crazy territory where you have forty medpacs and call yourself a Bacta God.
For larger things, I'm thinking you can have 4 regular items (like rifles, swords, axes, staffs) or 8 small items (pistols, knives, batons, lightsabers), or some combination thereof. So just pretend this is a 90's era videogame that still uses square inventories, and you have 8 squares. Small weapons are one square, regular weapons are two squares, sniper rifles are three squares, heavy weapons are four squares. I know that might be too many items to logically carry in some cases (such as 4 axes or 8 pistols or 2 heavy weapons), but this is a game. So just handwave where these things are, I'll just assume they're on your back or belt or something when not being used.
I wouldn't factor armor, things you guys might buy for your armor like jump servos (though I suppose only Laria has armor capable of getting that stuff at this point), jetpacks, repulsorlift skates, hover boots, etc as things in you equipment. So none of that would take up extra space. Things mounted on guns wouldn't take up extra inventory space either.
Granted this is all just what you can carry and still move around without hindrance. If you want to grab half-a-dozen rifles and explain that you're carrying them in a bundle in your arms, that's fine.
This sound good? Bad? Anyone got any ideas for a better way to do this? I'm not married to this, but I want to have something everyone can agree on.
Sometimes when I have trouble deciding outcomes, I bust out a die. That last post was the result of both Hob and the Gamorrean getting low rolls, which somehow wound up causing Hob to still sort of accomplish what he wanted.
Also, it's been a while since Claw and Frish have posted, and it's holding up the transport mission. If they don't post soon(ish) I'm going to have to figure out a way to speed that thing up, and eventually let Mantle get back into the game with the other regular posters.
Regarding inventory: Cool then, guess we'll do that.

I took a few minutes and summed up every credit transaction we've had so far, and put it in a post at the top of the discussion page.
On a sad note, Frish had to leave the game, so Eiron's no longer around.
Doubtful... I do wonder how the other pig managed to sneak on us so closely when I think we have the mating grounds right behind us and we never saw him enter there. And how we didn't hear a big pig approaching all this time.
Have we been failing hard perception rolls?
Anyway... Laira has to snipe to save Larry if she manages to kill unshielded pig in one shot. Fantasy, if possible I would have you turn to face the pig behind us first since that one is closer than charging shielded one.
The answers to all of your questions lie in past posts regarding the geography of the area, and the actions and descriptions of other characters and groups. If you need a hint regarding one detail, though: Hob isn't the only primary-color-skinned alien who had a certain idea.

The situation isn't really that bad, at least not enough for JMDEM to have to interfere. You guys have guns, you're clever, you'll pull through. Or you go back to the autosave and Save Scum The only really "unwinnable" situation you've encountered so far would probably be Hob trying to mug two heavily armed and armored Mandos in broad daylight, which was your own choice. For stuff I I introduce, I try not to throw you guys in the meat grinder too much. It's probably not fun if you're forced into a situation you're forced to lose in.
Hey Nman! Was thinking of reposting Laira's sheet over here in discussion and then use it as the updatable one with the current loot, weapons expenditures and such... dunno, feels kind of wrong to change stuff on the one in Signups.
If I do that, could you make a link to it in the first post of the RP?

Sure it does. I think. I'm not exactly an armored car expert, but I don't see why not.
