@Kyler Thatch: Right on the score. Basic resources. But if our scouts run into natives, then toss in 'establish friendly relations with natives'.

Although he's not officially a scout Orghuz plans to go out into the woods and use his senses to get a feel for the territory both natural and spiritual. N Man, feel free to use this to drop a plot hook or whatever.

Don't forget Fihelis. He's good for finding stuff to take back to camp.

Alright, so I'm guessing that some time in the next few hours I'll jump ahead to just after breakfast where everyone can set out. Right now, looking at what everyone's said, it looks like the majority of the workers will get to work acquiring cutting down trees, while most of the players scout out in some small groups?? As for workers assigned to players, it looks like Abathur's the only one who needs a worker or two for assistance? I'm not sure who the "we" Szena is referring to is, whether that just encompasses the specialist PCs or if you want a few workers pulled off the trees and sent along(and what equipment they should bring along, if so).

Also, for reference for now and for the future, if you get assigned or or more of the camp's workers to assist your character - it's far too much of an impedance to fun to have to ping-pong between me and you about you telling the worker what to do, and then me just confirming that they do it. You can assume they just follow along wherever you go, respond to reasonable orders, etc, automatically. So you can pretty much treat them like your own NPC for the day/mission. Only if you get into "Lay down on this altar and close your eyes" or "tell me about your mother" territory will the NPC do something atypical[lol] but for the most part do whatever.

[up] She meant the guards, which include any P Cs who are listed as security/guard.

[up]Regarding this last post in the RP, I think I might have misunderstood what you meant by "guards". The only people who are explicitly there for security are some of the PCs (Szena, Lita, etc). All of the workers are just general-purpose workers, and if you want one to do something like patrol duty or whatever, then a worker has to be assigned to that duty, and given a weapon if needed. So there's no actual guards among them.

If you wanted a few armed workers thrown Szena's way for her and Lita and whoever else is going with her, just say how many and with what weapons.

[up] Well, if the only guards are the P Cs, then it's only the P Cs. But I'd like two workers armed with swords... you know, better safe than sorry.

[up]Guess Sano already took care of that, so... you're good to go.[lol] You can make up whether the two are human or elf or dwarf or whatever.

I'mma probably going to have to drop out. I just realised how much stuff I have to do in the next few weeks, and it's an amount that won't really leave much extra time for me to stay in this RP. I'll see you guys around, though. smile

Anyway here's Blackwall

[up]Sorry to hear that. Jen can go to being a background character, and you're always welcome to pick up again at some point in the future if needed.

Anyways, ha, my mistake. I thought that Szena was waiting for the others before moving, but without any new posts in the last two days I realized it was my turn to post for that group. Sorry bout that. Don't be afraid to poke me in the future if you need a post.

Hey nman, would this RP still open to new players? If it is, you might want to put up a sentence in the opening post of the signups that the game is still open for signups.

nman Since: Mar, 2010

[up]Yeah, still open. Good idea, I added a line at the top about that.

Also I don't have any 'official' names for any of the new things (except stupid names I use mentally that aren't very good) so you guys get to have the fun of naming things, such as George and the bugs.
