Oooh yes! So, the reptiles are likely going to be addressed. Hopefully like birds, amphibians, and other non-mammals do appear too.
G.W.S.
I'll tell you right away that fish and invertebrates are non-sapient in Zootopia universe so carnivores can have something to eat, with the stand clearly depicting fish market. And given that said fish market looks to be located in bayou/marshland/wetland, does this means we will see alligators/crocodiles?
We have closer look at our blue snake boy
!
Although I'm wondering why he's naked while the other characters in this picture (beside Yax) wear clothes... I also see chameleon agents, SWAT wild boar who was deleted character in first movie, giant anteater character (always good to see these guys represented in media
), Finnick in baby rabbit costume (he's back folks and it seems like that theory of Nick and Judy working undercover as a married couple is confirmed
), foodtruck with bug-burgers, sea lion character and giraffe character who (given by his business suit and Death Glare he gives) will be probably movie antagonist who has Fantastic Racism against reptiles.
The embedded image.
A centennial celebration sounds like a good backdrop for the film. Adds some weight.

You’re Gonna Carry That Weight.
Maybe on the occasion of the city's centenary celebration, Zootopia authorities decided to integrate reptile and bird animals into their society, and the sequel will be about Immigration, and how some people view foreigners living in their native land, with that giraffe character being Trump-caricature who hates non-mammals, due to his Death Glare that he spots on the poster. What's funny is that somebody already theorized such plot for second movie
. Also I'm wondering if this blue snake boy will be Virtuous Character Copy of Kaa due to looking similar to him.
Huh, just noticed that Blue Snake is missing the other fang.

I assure you, I'm perfectly trustable person
When I noticed that, I thought of Viper from The Secret Life of Pets.
Hmm...
That's an interesting design. It's not 100% clear whether or not the snake is sapient from the way its designed (IE, it lacks the more human eyes of most sapient mammals in the series, but has clear facial expressions), which might be on purpose.

As long as the villain isn't a non-mammal, I'll be good. Doing that would badly undermine the message of the first movie.
Not really? All social groups ever have had villains, it's just you have to show that not all people in that other group are evil. But it'll most likely be a conflict without an actual villain like Frozen 2 or Ralph Wrecks the Internet.
Please remember that, ultimately, fictional works of entertainment are just that.I hope Maurice LaMarche is still voicing Mr. Big. Hopefully they don't do a Frozen 2 and replace him.
Also, I don't see Finnick anywhere on that poster.
Like creepy stories? Check out my book!I might be kicking a hornet's nest with this comment, but I can't help but notice that Nick, Judy, and Clawhauser are no longer dressed as police officers, and Bogo, who still is, is positioned antagonistically on the poster. Considering one of the few criticisms of the first one was that it over-glamorized cops at essentially the exact moment in time many people in real life have been turning against them due to numerous scandals, I wonder if that's significant...
Finnick's dressed as a baby bunny in a stroller. Also present are Judy's family, the mob shrews, the nudist yak, Gazelle and her backup dancers, and of course Flash, though curiously not the Ottertons.

I noticed the same thing. I wouldn't be surprised if that's the reason it took so long for Zootopia to get a sequel— the writers might have had a story planned out originally that made more use of the police procedural premise, but after the backlash against "copaganda", they had to start from scratch.
Bogo and the warthog cop are also the only characters not smiling (aside from Finnick and Mr. Big's bodyguard) and look as though they're actively pursuing Nick and Judy; wonder if there's some Javert-style things going on?
