There were actually attempts to make Simpsons spinoffs, they just didn't pan out. One idea was a live action Krusty the Clown series. I'm not making this up, google it if you wanna.
Patrick's sister seems cute. I like that she idolizes him even though there's no reason to.
Yeah, simpsons having a live action spin off is nothing new, they've even thought about doing with Troy Mc Clure and Ned Flanders more recently
I can see a Moe spin-off working. He's one of the most fully-realized characters on the show that's funny enough and tragic enough to be a lead in a couple of episodes.

Here's an interview with Cree Summer, Dana Snyder, and Tom Wilson.
Here's an interview with Kaz, Andrew Goodman, and Dave Cunningham about The Patrick Star Show.
The first episode of The Patrick Star Show came out. What do you think?
The Patrick Star Show marks the first Sponge Bob show/movie after Stephen Hillenberg's death to say "Based on characters created by Stephen Hillenberg", unlike Kamp Koral, which flat out says that he created it.

Well, at least that one was more honest, given that Kamp Koral was probably accepted by Hillenburg out of reluctance.
I saw the first episode and it looks right up The Mysterious Mr. Enter's alley. Otherwise, the show lacks the weight to justify its existence.
I mean, he hates him so I think it’s the exact opposite of his alley.
The show takes a lot of the Denser and Wackier stuff from later seasons of the original Up to Eleven. I'm not a fan of that, but I guess kids like it? But at the same time, the references to the original series are focused on earlier episodes. So they're recognizing that the earlier seasons were more memorable and funny, but they aren't doing what made the earlier seasons better.
The next 7 episodes of Kamp Koral are now on Paramount Plus.
Here's the Comic Con panel for The Patrick Star Show.
The Sponge Bob Square Pants franchise has been renewed for 52 episodes overall. Specifically, season 13 of the main Sponge Bob series has been renewed for another 13 episodes. The Patrick Star Show is getting another 13 episodes. Kamp Koral is getting another 26 episodes.
I'm still confused as to how a Patty Vault exists. Does Spongebob cooks many and keeps them in the vault?
I think it's just meant to be a stupid joke to not think too much about. It hasn't even appeared after that episode.
spongebob storing Krabby patties is a funny gag you have to admit
I would think it's Mr. Krab's idea. Why waste good food if he can sell it back to customers later? Spongebob I would imagine was against the idea until he realized he could hang out with them at night and work at the Krusty Krab more.
Kamp Koral will make its formal television debut on September 10.
People oughta start taking a lot of things from this show not seriously like they were intended to, it's why Plankton at times is microoscopic but other times he's big enough to fit in the palm of characters or why stuff tends to blow up randomly
@ Ookamikun: I mean, overproducing Krabby Patties is in-character for Spongebob
I always thought the Patty Vault would explain how the Krusty Krab is able to make Krabby Patties whenever SpongeBob's not working, such in episodes like "Bubble Buddy". It's been pretty consistent that Squidward and Mr. Krabs are pretty lousy when it comes to working at the grill.
Although it's clear the writer's didn't concern themselves with those types of details, so long as the jokes worked.
What happens when Squidward fills in for Sponge Bob? "He burnt my shake."
But wasn't it implied Krusty Krab was still a big thing before Spongebob applied? How was KK beating Chum Bucket with Squidward?
