They apparently did that so they look more distinct

Vincent Waller says that while the original versions of Patrick's parents were fine for that episode, he felt they were boring, that they weren't entertaining or fun.
Looking boring isn't an excuse

Kamp Koral has a very interesting twist. Spoilers ahead for the episode "Kitchen Sponge" .

Interesting thing, apparently Mid-Life Crustacean is not available on Paramount+ for unknown reasons.
Also, after checking digital retail outlets Season 3 is no longer available in whole or has that episode absent. Part of me wonders if someone got nervous over the panty raid scene.

Power of Thor!Flanderization wouldn't have even let that scene happen
Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice.Yeah, flanderization made Spongebob and Patrick oblivious manchildren, this is very OOC for them in all fronts
Prettiest Meta Knight Gijinka, nglThe winner for favorite animated series at the Kids Choice Awards is Spongebob Square Pants. It's not surprising.

The Patrick Star Show comes out in July. Kamp Koral has its formal tv debut in September.
I can understand why; it's the Panty Raiding... where they raid Krabs' moms drawer.
I double checked though, it's still on Amazon Prime with the Panty Raiding. As funny as the joke is, though, it is very out of character, and also incredibly illegal and really messed up. But I can't help but find it funny.

I think I experienced a bit of Aluminum Christmas Trees with "Dream Hoppers". I originally thought the music from SpongeBob's dream was original, until I heard it in a couple of commercials (one was for a car, and the other was a PSA against the use of cannabis edibles because kids might mistake them for completely safe candy,) but I don't really know the name and composer of the piece.

Thousand Dreamers, Watashi wa Saikyo, and Believe slap so hard.Yeah, a lot of the background tracks in SpongeBob are actually stock music. You'd occasionally hear some tracks in other cartoons, such as Ren & Stimpy. They tend to use Hawaiian or nautical themed tracks in SpongeBob, which fit the show rather well.
Hell, "The Lineman", aka the Mermaidman and Barnacle Boy theme, was used in an episode of The Simpsons once.

Spongebob's only fully original music tracks (discounting songs) comes from the movies, and even them some tracks in them are remixes of archive music they had.
Also Ren & Stimpy used a lot of the same music.

Prettiest Meta Knight Gijinka, nglAren't the ukulele tracks like the credits theme original to the show too?
(I know some of them are arrangements of old music like "Twelfth Street Rag" and "Powerhouse" but still I thought they were new compositions of them made for the show, much like how Carl Stalling remade them for Looney Tunes.)

Brandon Warren joined Kamp Koral as a storyboard supervisor. He previously worked as a storyboard artist on shows like The Mighty B, Robot And Monster, Randy Cunningham 9th Grade Ninja, Penn Zero Part Time Hero, and Duck Tales 2017.
