This phrase is even more remarkable when you factor in how he got fired from DC earlier this year...

Maybe he snuck in and suggested the Kill 'Em All scenario just to have the last laugh?

EDIT: More pics from the upcoming Superman: Man of Tomorrow movie, which is looking at lot better than the DCAU Original Movies if only for looking more dynamic imo.

So...this is just the DC version of Ultimatum? At least this got a reset.

So this feels much like the ending of an author's run on a normal comic book line. Too bad the ending was the only unquestionably good thing about the tenure. Especially that silhouette shot of the Trinity at the end.

Well at least Damien x Raven is over.

I really don't know why the Robins have to get stuck in such unnatural pairings. First Tim x Barbara in the Arkhama then Dick x Harley in that Harley & Batman movie & Damien x Raven here.

At least 2 of these make me want to regurgitate my lunch.

At least Damien and Raven are the same age. Titans (2018) implied a pairing between a 13 year old Raven and a 19-20 year old Beast Boy. Just...no.

Oooof an extremely age-inappropriate romance or Damien.

I gotta say I feel like quoting Geralt's "Evil is Evil" speech.

And the 2003 show wasn't kind to her either...

Raven is to stay single until someone proves they know how to write an appropiate romance.

I gave up on Titans (2018) because of its casting. At least her in 2003 as being the goth to Beast Boy’s naïveté was alright, except they didn’t do anything with it, so as far as anyone’s concerned, she was single.

Anyway, Universe went boom, time to loosely adapt Superman: American Alien! Wonder if they’ll have the Deathstroke scene.

BB and Raven are constantly on/off in Teen Titans Go too.

It wasn't just that the ending felt pointless, it retroactively made every preceding movie pointless.

I feel that Damian and Raven pairing was pushed by people, who liked Robin/Raven pairing from Teen Titans 2003 cartoon. I heard it was popular enough.

If so that’s either dumb or insulting cause it implies the showrunners can’t tell the Robins apart or they assume the audience doesn’t care which one it is under the cowl.

Especially since Dick actually does show up yet they paired Raven with the wrong Robin.

Well, that's generally because there were a lot of Starfire/Dick 'shippers to please too.

So the solution was clearly take the Mad Stan approach and blow it all up.

Honestly I’m more surprised that Flash didn’t initiate Flashpoint during the battle so we could see the universe explode in a sea of canon reset. Just to hammer in how pointless this all was when you think about it.

Speaking of the movie, if you scroll to post 23, it mentions 40 tweets from the watch party. There's a lot to unpack.

At least, with Apokolips War, this universe is finally dead, and no one has any reason to go back and watch any of the movies ever again. Because this one rendered them all worthless.

Especially because the ending makes it look like everyone was killed off by a nuke.

Watched it. Yeah, this was definitely them completely trashing this universe.

I know it was based on the New 52 and that was something few people liked, but I'm gonna miss the universe that gave us a completely accurate rendition of The Judas Contract.

I wanted to actually see Wondergirl and Kid Flash the second in action too.

And hey, Trigon fights Darkseid, and King Shark....is a shark.

I'm not saying I thought it was super great, but there were still a few moments I enjoyed, but hey. Lets just burn the entire thing to the ground and all that.

Well, there are rumors that DC Animation might create another shared universe in their animated movies department.

I hope not, honestly. It's kind of exhausting seeing the same take on these characters, especially when you don't particularly care for them. Plus, it has an adverse effect on other works you do care, like the art quality in season three of Young Justice.
