Maybe something from Kung Pow Enter The Fist? Comparing the original and the remade
◊?
Pull. It's just confusing.
While it would be good on Anachronism Stew, it's not nearly as awesome as the one currently there. That page does have subpages, though.
Check out my fanfiction!Just another one here for pull - can't think of any images that would help the article, and the present one looks like it might fit better on Ragtag Bunch of Misfits or Anachronism Stew, as already said.

Pulled.
Question: Would showing subtitles on the screen count as an Image Macro?

Found a Youtube Channel with political stances you want to share? Hop on over to this page and add them.Again, this trope is about comedic changes made to the script. The best, abd I think only way to show this trope is to have subtitles from the original work, and then compare it to subtitles from the gag dub. I'll check and see if I can do that with Ghost Stories.
My concern about subs in an image is that it would look like Gag Subs first and a Gag Dub second. That's a reason I didn't suggest that in my first post.

Oh that's right, the Gag Sub trope exists too... In that case I choose BUPKIS
And now the newbie question comes: What's BUPKIS stand for?
If it means "leave without a picture", I guess I can agree with that. It's probably not going to be possible to illustrate this with a picture alone. At best, we'd need a JAFAAC style pic, such as showing someone from LOTR yelling and putting a caption of "The hills are alive, with the sound of music...".
"There's no possible way to illustrate this trope without the caption being essential..."
Keep in mind that "no image" is an option, and may be the best choice if that is true.
"Caption is essential" is not a fatal flaw, there are page images here and there that give a punchline set up by the image, or something, and that is fine, but unless there is a good suggestion for an image/caption combo, I prefer no image to a bad one.

Becky: Who are you? The Mysterious Stranger: An angel. Huck: What's your name? The Mysterious Stranger: Satan.Yes. However, a Gag Dub is not so much a trope but rather a genre. So I think we should simply put up an example of this genre by showing a title screen of a gag dub (possibly juxtaposed with a title of the original).

The caption seems to be doing all of the work in the current image. I'd think the image itself would fit on Anachronism Stew more than the current page, as there's nothing illustrating a translation in the image.
