I think it's fairly obvious that the sea captain was having an affair with the young lady, then murdered her to cover it up. Then he went out and killed an innocent great white as a scapegoat, which is now haunting him. tongue

[up] That seems like it would actually be a pretty awesome deconstruction of Jaws. An innocent creature of the wild is made a scapegoat for human deceit and opportunism, and must be avenged!

This might be the most ridiculous concept for a shark movie I've ever seen, and I've seen Sand Sharks.

Finally, a chance for the Shark Punching Center to shine...

(For those not in on the joke, the SCP Foundation often has its acronym misspelled as SPC and a storyline got built up to explain it)

They're making a sequel. And they're letting people suggest subtitle ideas via Twitter. Mine was "Taking a bite out of the Big Apple!"

Looking for some stories?

Hey, you know that guy from Glee that died recently, Cory Monteith? Turns out his last 2 tweets happened to be about this movie before he died. Odd coincidence eh?

The tweets in question.

That'd be a casual way to speak to the Sharknado.
