Only to the extent that jumping rope is an improvement towards going to space. The problem was never in the competence of the inspectors, it's in the corporations silencing every and any indication of a problem and neutralizing or ignoring any action being taken to avoid it.

So, uh, is there any specific reason why Bolsonaro's asking about golden showers on Twitter?

I... what? I haven't heard of that one just yet. What's going on there?

I have no idea.

While googling it, I've seen some people mention that it might have to do with the carnival or something?

Right, found the news. What's essentially happening is that he tweeted a video of some fairly gross sexual acts being done by some people partying during carnaval. I didn't watch long enough to say if it's in public or not. Bolsonaro then added that "This is what carnaval is turning into in some places around the country".

From what I'm getting, it's basically a display. From Bolsonaro's point of view, he's displaying the depravity and decadence that has been shown by Brazil's worst people during carnaval, implying guilt to a few different groups over that.

From everybody else's point of view, he's showing just how out of touch he is, and is not only making a gross generalization out of one single example, but is tweeting something no one really wants to see.

Basically, he's trying to raise more panic and dissent by using shock value and overblown rethoric. He just happens to be doing that in a very stupid way today.

I'd like to see twitter's reaction to that one. Pretty sure the video in question goes against their policies.

As for him asking what a golden shower is, he presumably didn't know that the sexual act had that name, and, being the 70-something year-old out of touch man that he is, asked twitter that instead of google.

He post a video acting like a moral guardian complaining about a someone doing a Golden Shower on a Carnival block, after that he asks whats is a Golden Shower, this is the context .

becomes a meme and I laughing a lot .

So even within context it's stupid. Got it.

He post the video when complains on the tweet, the video was blocked by tweeter because of pornografic content and some of his critics are saying that he do a law infraction by posting a sexual content of someone without the consent of the person .

Reminder that this is the president. The guy who is, in theory, in charge of Brazil. And he just commited a few infractions on the law, all so he could do some posturing and complain.

Even with all the problems I didin't want a Impeachment because Believe or not,Vice President Mourao is worse than him.

Oh, no doubt. But by all means, Mourão already is the president anyways. It wouldn't surprise me if the title changed hands too at some point.

"Lava Jato of education is nothing but a way to destroy public education.

Article in portuguese.

By far and away my biggest fear of our current cuntsidente is the effect his actions towards public education are gonna have on today's children.

He's trying to turn public school into facist brainwashing facilities, and that scares me a lot.

[up] Turning schools into fascist brainwashing facilities is pretty much one of the top priorities in the to do list of power-drunk fascistic regime.

I'm not as witty as I think I am. It's a scientifically-proven fact.

Turns out, the very same crowd who supported Bolsonaro is now, pardon my French, "descendo a lenha" on our dear Cuntsidente.

Not exactly sign for optimism, but a small victory nonetheless.

I apologize if I am responding to every bit of news about this administration with cynic sarcasm but that's basically all I have left by this point.

This has literally been my reaction to every single outrageous thing Bolsonaro's done since he was elected, which is inevitably met with criticism from his supporters.

"What! How could you do this to me?"

"You mean the thing that he was obviously going to do if elected, which we tried to tell you about for years?"

[up][up]Well, it looks like the president thought he wasn't saying enough stupid stuff before and decided to make up for lost time.

Not strictly politics, but at least 8 (6 students, 2 staff) people were killed in a school shooting in Suzano, 10 others are injured. The two shooters turned their weapons on themselves.

Shooters were 17 and 25. They possessed handguns, explosives...and a bow complete with arrows. That's all I can find about them so far.
