I remember the PWT movie. Watched the television premier. It was awful and deserves every bit of verbal beating the Critic gives it. Those freaking puppet wizards man. Not to mention Not-Billy (the kid).

Just... so, so bad even compared to the other Power Rangers movie. At least Ivan Ooze had his entertaining moments. "The Brady Bunch Reunion!"

But that's a story for another time.

While it's a terrible movie, honestly, one needs to have been into Power Rangers to enjoy just how terrible it really is.

(Also Linkara already did it, non-existent reviewer dibs damnit!)

You're probably right. People who didn't follow the series (aka most everyone) would just call it a poorly made kiddie movie. While it's not to the level of "canon raping" the Turbo movie is really stupid when looked at through the lens of the campy Mighty Morphin' and Zeo series.

And now I have to go rewatch the entire History of Power Rangers.

But that's a story for another time.

I never knew the story of that Power Rangers movie. How is it similar to Wreck-It Ralph?

It's a terrible Turbo pun. "Shift into Turbo!" "He's gone Turbo!"

The first good thing I'll say about Power Rangers Turbo is that it had a great theme song:

Too bad they only ever played 30 seconds of it on TV.

[up][up] Not as good as Power Rangers In Space's theme or even Zeo's. (Though to be fair most Power Rangers show have a good theme song... Till Mystic Force and everything that came after till today. Not going to forgive Samurai and Megaforce for essentially murdering the classic theme)

Just started the video but...wouldn't it have been smarter for Zordon to call Linkara instead?

I almost actually thought they were gonna do this without Linkara. Knew they wouldn't pass it up.

When the review started I was thinking "I kinda remember this movie being slightly okay. What about it was so..." and then I saw Lerigot and I was like "Oh yeah, now I remember. Screw it, it sucks"

I find it odd that they call Rita their oldest and most embarrassing enemy while reviewing the movie with Divatox and Elgar as they are far more embarrassing.

Or heck have Linkara actually full-on crossover and actually call him out on that one and a replacement of "...Fine she's the one everyone remembers."

Well, I suppose Linkara already did a full review of the movie, so having him do it again (even if in a crossover) would be a bit redundant, no?

Also, is it just me, or does even Doug have better production values than this movie? [lol]

He's reviewed the show. Talked a bit about the movie but it wasn't a review by any means.

Unless there's a video out there I missed.

Point is odd are Linkara might feel it pointless to do something he already covered in HOPR hence limiting himself to a cameo.

Finished it. Pretty awesome, with likely the best sketches so far. Also, Linky's cameo was great, as was the NC power rangers theme

  • Okay, that beginning had me on the floor! Hilarious.
  • ..... Doug thinks Daniel Craig has only one emotion??? .......... ... he's right.
  • JOHNNY YONG FA-RICK-IN' BOOOOSCHHHHHH!!!! **** YEAH!!!!!!!!
  • Critic, it's called "build up". 35 minutes isn't a long time to wait for the actual Power Rangers in a feature-length movie.
  • ...oh, nevermind. They really DON'T use the uniforms that much.
  • Is that really Doug in that outfit?! Even in the action shots!?
  • Rachel sounds JUST like a real little boy in dubbed anime! ...you know! Like a woman!
