Imagine if Geminine and Lightning have this conversation.
Geminine: I hate myself.
Lightning: Why?
Geminine: For trying to get revenge on the one who killed Mifune against Gemini's will. It only hurts me knowing I hurt her.
Lightning: I know how you feel because I'm like that, too. I hate myself for not trusting Serah. Like you said, it hurts too much for me, and her.
Geminine: What have I done?
Lightning: What have I done?
Geminine: I'm so sorry, Gemini.
Lightning: I'm so sorry, Serah.
Yes, it's an interesting coincidence, nothing more.
On another note, I'm kind of annoyed none of the other Sakura Wars games came out here. There is apparently a fan translation kicking around, but I haven't been able to find any new information on it.
I have played the Galaxy Angel trilogy though, and it has a similar set-up, albeit with a space RTS in the levels instead of a turn-based strategy.
I really like the dating-sim battle sequence gameplay flow, and almost no one else uses it. The most I can find is something like the Agarest War series or the Ar Tonelico trilogy and Agarest balances the system really badly and Ar Tonelico is more...skeevy at times? I guess.
All this talk about the fifth game, and not a peep regarding the original 4 games.
Understandable, since no English version (outside of translation mods or the same sorts) are available, which made most people unaware of them. But come on, this thread is about the whole franchise right, not just the only one released internationally?
A stranger is like the shadows. It is so common to the world everyone will just ignore them.I know. But there's an LP of the first game by Spirit Armor (he translated EVERYTHING) that you can see by checking the Sakura Wars page on this site. Sadly you have to have a Something Awful account to see it; kinda weird that I used to be able to see it without being a member before years ago.

Do not spare the feelings of those who would not spare yours.
