Admittedly at first glance Sakura Wars looked incredibly boring to me. Then I read up on it,played X Zone and now it's interesting. SEGA doesn't use their I Ps all that well really.

I fell in love with this franchise thanks to not only the anime (or OVA, I don't remember) but the theme song for the first Sakura Wars is just fantastic XD
How do you guys knew the existence of this franchise?
A stranger is like the shadows. It is so common to the world everyone will just ignore them.I just can't help but comparing the fifth game to Final Fantasy XIII.
i fail to see the similarities
sakura wars 5 is a pleasant and fun romp though NYC in mechs while seducing all the ladies while FF 13 is
not

Imagine if Gemini and Serah have this dialogue:
Gemini: Tell me, do you have a sister who is always angry and takes her anger out at your love interest?
Serah: Oh my god, yes!
Gemini: My sister... she tried to take over our shared body against my will when I given up on revenge. I was locked away in my head because of that.
Serah: That's easy for you to say. My sister threatened me because she found I had become a being a l'Cie, a being she was hunting down. I was turned into a crystal because of my purpose as an l'Cie has been fulfilled.

It's been a while for this topic to be discussed.
I just can't help but think that Gemini is so like Serah from Final Fantasy XIII.
