Yeah, it looks pretty cool. The run of New York and no real goal? It sounds really cool ^^
That is the face of a man who just ate a kitten. Raw.Does look excellent. Scenery Gorn to the max.
I thought the voice-acting was rather impressive - it certainly gave the impression that these guys, if they belong to the "Division" I think they do (namely, the CIA Special Activities Division) are really elite, given their calmness in battle.

Schild und Schwert der ParteiActually, those were players. It wasn't party-banter, it was the players talking about strategy and such.

Yeah. The fact that they were specifically referencing game mechanics was a big giveaway for that.
I loved the battle damage in the trailer, and how much the player could interact with the world. I was amazed when he closed the car door as he sidled along it.
Very big Daydream Believer. "That's not knowledge, that's a crapshoot!" -Al Murray "Welcome to QI" -Stephen FryLooks good but I'm afraid we're seeing another heavily scripted hype teaser like Watch_Dogs was at first (which still looks good though)

Definitely some of the best graphics showcased, if only because of how much stuff was... well, everywhere.
the color todayThat's kind of entirely the point, man. Get people hyped up so they can't stop talking about it, then let word of mouth percolate for a month before releasing another trailer to further generate hype so that more people will be interested in it. More marketing for your dollar.
So let them build hype if it gets them more customers. That's the point, y'know?
Very big Daydream Believer. "That's not knowledge, that's a crapshoot!" -Al Murray "Welcome to QI" -Stephen FryEven if it's not nearly as advanced and in-depth as the trailer made it look, the premise still interests me. Scenery Gorn and huge environments to explore are a good way to get my support for almost anything.
Plus, I have a good number of friends interested in getting a PS 4, so a big multiplayer game is a great thing to have.
This seems to be like the years of console MM Os. Defiance, Destiny, The Division...And they all look like pretty good-quality games.
That is the face of a man who just ate a kitten. Raw.I heard Defiance was just okay.
And TPS! Tear down the FPS supremacy!
Dopants: He meant what he said and he said what he meant, a Ninety is faithful 100%.Barely, if even that. I still wouldn't recommend it to folks, there's too much incomplete or unpolished content (such as the tutorial) and the AI is crappy by FPS standards. Hopefully, Trion will get on their asses and update it enough so that it's enjoyable in a year's time.

I wonder what the character creation system's gonna be like.
Time grows thin, the past's a riddle; The Tower awaits you in the middle. If this game delivers on a quarter of its potential it will be amazing and generation-defining.
Maybe not the latter. I will settle for just a fair amount better than Defiance.
XCOM: One does not simply "shoot" a ChryssalidNecroing this thread since it's E3 and we now know more. The cinematic trailer they showed was equal parts Tear Jerker and Awesome Moments.
That is the face of a man who just ate a kitten. Raw.Time to bring this thread back.
First a look at the Multi-player aspect of the game.
This video is fairly recent and isn't the staged MP everyone is familiar with. It looks good.
New Trailer which shows off some gameplay elements.
The game is supposedly coming gout Q1 2016 with a supposed release date of March 8th. If you pre-order you can get into the Beta. Very tempting I must say.

Who watches the watchmen?Cool. Makes me wonder if they will do some of those live action shorts Ghost Recon got.
For the curious the Closed Beta starts on January 28th for Xbox One and January 29th for PS 4 and PC. The Beta runs until the 31st.
Contrary to the video which was early 2015 it was pushed back to this month.

Who watches the watchmen?I figured we'd have a thread for this. I got my beta invite, who else is gonna play?
I'm tentatively excited for this one.
Oh really when?I am because of pre-order. What system you on Garcon?
Who watches the watchmen?PS 4. I pre ordered the game on Amazon and then canceled it once I got my beta code.
If the beta goes well I'll probably get it later.
Oh really when? You sure they won't cank your code for that?
I am on Xbone sadly. I need to dig up my headset.
Who watches the watchmen?Pretty sure, they already sent my confirmation email and told me I'm guaranteed to get in.
Worse comes to worse I'll pre order another one and then cancel it after the beta.
Which is really what I should have done before but whatever.

Oh really when?I might get it...at some point. No idea when.

Where'd this game come from? It's probably one of the thing I'm most anticipating from this E3, Kingdom Hearts and such notwithstanding. Looks to be a Third-Person Shooter RPG MMO... Or something along those lines? You go about a city with friends and there's guns and fancy maps and it looks like it'll be good fun.
PS 4 and Xbox One so far. Doesn't look like there'll be a PC port.
