Any conservative tropers?

When I look at "Blackface," I've decided that the video is not worth my time.

Just for context Emplemon brings up that he used to do blackface on some Comedy Central show which clashes with his current status as "America's moral Authority"

That was a dumb move.

What Emp Lemon bringing it up, Kimmel doing blackface, or Kimmel being so self righteous.

I am never comfortable with blackface even it's supposed to be satire or something.

So what are your thoughts on Jordan Peterson. I discovered him recently and though I don't agree with everything he says I really admire him.

Peterson is one of the loudest right wing voices right now. He's nothing if not outspoken.

So the Boy Scouts are going to allow female members now. The Girl Scouts have no plans for similar initiatives. Quite the opposite, in fact.

I actually think the move is kind of stupid for so many reasons.

Hey guys, new to this thread here. Tempest Knight linked me, so I guess intros are in order.

I believe would identify as Libertarian-Republican, center-right, mildly conservative.

Eh, when I was young there was a big difference between the groups. Boy scouts got the "fun" outdoor activities while the girls were stuck inside with glorified home-ec classes.

I know it heavily varies depending on who is leading the groups (in my area the leaders were hyper conservative stay in the kitchen types) , but the girls always seemed to feel left out of all the "fun" stuff.

Honestly I don't have a problem with it, though I have always found gender segregation in such organizations to be silly and backwards to start with.

Edit- oh, also, hello there. In my homeland I am probably considered a godless liberal, but compared to a lot of the forumgoers I am pretty conservative. Guess you could call me conservatively liberal? Roosevelt Republican?

I think the gun control debate would hold a bit more weight if a lot of gun murders didn't take place in gun-free zones.

Jordan Peterson is a lot like Richard Dawkins, a respected academic in his field that you should view much more critically once he moves on to other subjects.

I'm getting so sick and tired of people constantly throwing around the term MRA and Alt-Right nilly willy.

The saying "If someone hates you for no reason, give the motherfucker a reason." comes to mind.

There are some places where such words can be thrown around very loosely, Tumblr comes to mind, but usually most people know the differences between regular conservatives and the more rabid alt-right.
