The You Tube channel counter arguments made a really good video about the concept of splaining

There's a word for it already and it's "condescending". Appliable to both genders. No need to create new words.
It's a disgusting and offensive term.
Like said earlier, it is basically the same thing with condescension, which both genders are capable of. But that term try to make it as if that is a behavior exclusive to men. Women who use this term would be very offended if anybody uses the term "womansplaining."
It's almost as if some feminists are under impression that women are inherently better than men.
Continuously reading, studying, and (hopefully) growing. At least there are some feminists willing to answer challenging questions
. So far as these questions are asked in good faith, of course.
Think I've seen the word "femsplaining" somewhere else before. Escapes me where.

So what are your thoughts on the great Alex Jones purge. Personally while I think he's either a raving lunatic or a snake oil salesman (albeit an entertaining one) he still has the right to express his views. Either everyone has freedom of speech or no one does. Plus all this will do is make him and his fans (at least those who don't watch him ironically) double down on their beliefs that the government is out to get them. Oh yeah there's also the fact that this effectively makes him a martyr. Good job You Tube good job

I don't really care either way. I have no interest in Conspiracy Theorists, so Alex Jones getting booted off You Tube means nothing to me.

I'm honestly fine with him getting sworn in. While he acted petty and overly emotional in the hearing, the shenanigans of everyone else were a lot worse, including protesting at his questioning several times, using only Dr. Ford's testimony against him with no solid evidence, and comparing him to the likes of Bill Cosby, Harvey Weinstein, and Bill Clinton for said allegations. I think they contributed very much to him being pissed off.

The legend has returned.I find what Democrats and the supporters have done to Kavanaugh absolutely appalling.
They threw away presumption of innocence put of the window, clearly not have learned lessons from Mc Carthyism era. Kavanaugh was upset and distressed upon having a baseless, life-destroying accusation. And apparently, that's a sign that he's too unstable and aggressive, proof that he is someone who's capable of attacking a woman and not fit to be a supreme justice.
Holy crap, what the hell kind of a sociopathic logic is that!? Despite being a conservative, I've supported Democrats more than Republicans, even if by small difference. But this whole Kavanaugh incident might make me withdraw my support for Democrats.
Continuously reading, studying, and (hopefully) growing.
No power on Earth could get me to vote GOP this year ... but the Dems had every chance in the world to prove themselves a sane alternative and they thrust away the chance with both hands. At this point, I'm staying home in November and to Hell with them all.
Not so very long ago, conservative Democrats were an actual thing. If the Dems seemed willing to let them be a thing once again, with party support in races where it made sense and non-zero input into the party platform, I'd register so fast it'd make your head spin. But then I'm speaking of counterfactuals.
That's what you get when there's only two parties. They have to naturally be in opposition of each other, otherwise there's going to be a large chunk of the population who doesn't agree with most of either parties' policies, which isn't good for democracy.
I feel that with the Kavanaugh debacle, a good chunk of the protestors had already made up their minds over him being guilty before the hearings even started
Their is one good thing to come out of this though: There's an upcoming court case that depending on the outcome could limit the ability of social media platforms to censor their users

So, what's everyone's opinion on "mansplaining"? I always hear this term being thrown around quite a bit on the internet.
