Just found out about the So Sorry recently. Anyone know where the original design comes from? Apparently it was so bad that Toby stuffed him in a secret corner of the game intentionally.
So Sorry is one of two characters that were put in the game because of kickstarter; anyone who donated $1000 dollars would get to put a character in the game. One of those characters was Muffet; the other was So Sorry.
I know that. I just want to see what was so bad originally that they hid it away.
It's so weird. Muffet was a boss put directly into the campaign, and had motivations and what-not and some foreshadowing. 'So Sorry' is literally down a path that nobody would even think about going down, and on a very specific date once you actually know it.

Welp. You Asked for it.◊
Judging by the reference, I'm pretty certain this guy is a fetish character. (especially since Fattening is labeled right there in the bottom right.)
EDIT: yeah, just googled "Samael Butter Dragon" just to be sure. Yeah, its a very balant fetish character. Also don't google "Samael Butter Dragon if you're not into fattening or overweight furries.

That actually reminds me of the Macrosaurus character's origin when it came to Colossal Kaiju Combat and such. I've no issue with the creators and their interests, but ya' gotta' know what might be appropriate and junk when it comes to products like this.
Also, I've been eyeing this game for a while. I'm wondering whether it's worth it to throw the money down for both the game and the soundtrack for the seventeen or so bucks at the moment.

So let me get this straight. Someone paid 1000$ to get a fetish character put into Undertale?
If so, thanks Toby for putting it in a dark corner to rot. You the best.
I almost want to know Toby's thought process on this. On one hand, the guy gave you 1000$ and you're obligated to give him what he paid for, but on the other hand, his request is ridiculous.

Well that explains it all too well
This gives me secondhand furry embarrassment like you wouldn't believe.
Hell, with whom I've met you'll just have to take my word for it when I say that it probably embarrasses even some of the fetish folk.

On the positive side of the coin, what's Muffet's origin story? Pretty sure everyone can agree she was a much better addition to the game.
So like, I'm curious.
So at certain bosses your SOUL turns a different color, and you must do different things while in that color. Do the SOULS of the other six humans correspond to the gimmick? (Such as how a Blue SOUL needs to jump, which might be the ballerina's SOUL, and yellow has you shoot, thus being the Cowboy's(?) SOUL.)
I don't really feel like playing through the game to find out myself again, and it's ind of late to be freaked out by the neutral route's final boss.
I've seen that theory thrown around a few places, but there aren't enough to match up perfectly.
You can only be turned green, blue, yellow, and purple, which leaves light blue and whatever the sixth color is.
Does anyone know how to open that locked door in Snowdin with the mushrooms?
I haven't read too much into it, but I think it's some weird multi-playthrough thing, and the reward isn't all the worth it, I think. It's just Toby as a dog behind there or something.
Can't expect every human to have ran into the same baddies as you (and vise versa), ehh?
Dodge all the Special Thanks in the credits, than load up your save file.
And nah I guess not.
I really dig that their weapons and armor give us a little glimpse into who the six were that died, though. I didn't make the connection until my second playthrough.

That would be orange. My original theory was that would have belonged to The Fallen Child, but now it doesn't make sense anymore

To be fair, Toby did wash away as much "ick potential" as he could, and the boss fight itself, isn't that bad. But he couldn't even use their own name because of the possible Google search backlash. Its a crying shame, but at least its there at all!

If you make enough money that you can throw a thousand USD at someone to put that character into a game, you have to have enough common sense (or a enough of a sense of humor) to know that they won't do anything particularly dignified with it.
I have no pity for them.
They should have had enough introspection to realize how awkward their request was, and either changed it, or stiffened their backs and stood by their decision.
Either way. It's their problem.

Anyways...game recommended, yes? I'm seriously contemplating the buy w/ soundtrack since the last thing I bought was LISA the Painful and it made me enjoy RPG's more than I had in years, as well as having watched bits of the game come up off-and-on for a while. Tryin' not to spoil myself though.
3/4 rocks recommend this game.
This is easily the best RPG I've played in years, hands down.
Absolutely get the combo. The soundtrack's great, too.
Anyways, just realized I haven't posted here before that. So completed my first run (pacifist, for those curious) recently. Pretty fun. The completionist in me wants to try a genocide run next, but it's a perfect enough ending that the other part of me doesn't want to ruin it.
