Songs that have a lot of build up, then totally disregard it in the chorus. This is especially aggravating when they just throw in a beat lazily instead. Oh, and beats in general where they don't belong.
Deep into that darkness, peering, long I stood there, wondering, fearing, doubting, dreaming dreams no mortal ever dared to dream before. Those weren't power ballads. They're bubble-gum pop at best.
'All he needs is for somebody to throw handgrenades at him for the rest of his life...'The lyrics of most (if not all) pop songs (love song lyrics .etc.) They make me quite angry. (I know this is a bit ironic coming from someone who listens to music about Wearing your Viking helmet with honour and pride.) I just think it is so dull and insipid.
"I thought Djent was just a band" -Physical StaminaThe lack of bagpipes in rock music. Look, rock music is all about being loud and in-your-face. (OK, not really, but just go along with me.) There is no instrument louder and more in-your-face than the bagpipes. It is the loudest instrument out there. Rock music should be all over the bagpipes. But aside from some Irish/Celtic rock bands, and a few metal bands (which, sadly, I'm unable to listen to because I hate metal), they just don't show up very often.
More bagpipes in rock music, dammit!
X-Men X-Pert, my blog where I talk about X-Men comics.

I hate AC/DC. So I didn't even listen to the song.
Didn't do much for me.

Meandering outros that take up nearly half the song, and that aren't remotely as listenable as the musicians think. (I'm looking at you, "Abacab.")
