I'm kind of confused over the fact that no one else seems to think that apples are used to symbolise temptation and unhealthy desire. That covers Eden, Eris, Snow White, Barbossa, Twilight...

There are going to be quite a lot of examples from this page.

Ok, since examples are being moved to more fitting tropes, can we cut this? Do we need to crowner that?

Rhetorical, eh? ... Eight!

Added a "disambiguate" option.

We make this a disambiguation page? That will just make it easier for people to keep linking to it.

(However, if you want to YKTTW an index called Apple Tropes, sure, no problem.)

Disambiguation pages get dewicked after the disambiguation.

Sure, we'll dewick it either way. But doesn't the existence of the page afterward, rather than a clean red link, encourage further wicks?

Or if it doesn't, why would we need a disambiguation page at all?

I am neutral on whether to cut or disambiguate this. That said, I am not aware of a disambig encouraging wicks any more than redlinking does.

I believe it does, but I also think that's really more of an issue for very popular tropes. For example, Badass Longhair is up to 40 wicks again which is after I kept cleaning it for a fairly decent period of time.

I think that means those should be deliberately redlinked.

OK, who is up for on-page example moving? I am no good at it.

I made a sandbox for example sorting: How Do You Like Them Apples. I didn't do any sorting yet though.

It doesn't help that the trope Forbidden Fruit is not literally about fruit.

OK, shall we wait for this YKTTW to complete?

I'd like to bring to tropers' attention that the Tempting Apple YKTTW now has five hats. Could somebody please launch it so we can move on with this TRS?

I launched Tempting Apple because it looked to go and indexed it. I'll crosswick it later.

Well, example sorting is pretty much done and I finished crosswicking Tempting Apple.

I know that the crowner calls for How Do You Like Them Apples to be cut but it has 114 inbounds. Maybe it'll be best to turn it into a disambiguation instead?
