Lindsay Ellis once even made a joke about how Meg, with her world-weary personality, has to at least be pushing thirty by the time of the film.
Really good featurette about Mary Blair and the huge influence she had at Disney.
Her art is just so gorgeous and adorable.

Here's the next SparkShorts:
It reminded me of WALL•E (perhaps they share the same universe).

Sparkshorts are really a good idea in the long run.
I want this to become a full-length movie. I want to see more of these two robots trying to find their place in a world where they were literally made to be second-class citizens.
This was so good
Seconding the wish to see this get expanded because there's so many interesting aspects to the world seen in this short
It was much too fluid, but the character designs and style almost felt a bit stop motion to me.
The "flying city for the 1%" has been done time and time again, but it's truly beautiful in this short. <3
And now for some bitter laughs − it appears that Anaïs Delva, Elsa's French voice in the Frozen franchise, was fired from the role (she was already replaced in Ralph Breaks The Internet). Why, you ask? Sexual harassment? Racist tweets? Worse: she physically appeared as an Elsa ersatz in a (horrible) French movie for a scene that parodied Frozen. Without Disney's greenlight, as it turns out. And they were not amused.
I know people outside of France probably won't care much, but yeah, that anecdote made me cringe a little bit.
Flippé de participer à ce grand souper, je veux juste m'occuper de taper mon propre tempo. Was it an adult film, or was it the French equivalent of one of those Seltzberg films?
Not an adult film, no, that would have been a bit much. >.>
(the scene in question is at 5:20)
The film itself is a… retelling? of Aladdin, to make things worse (though not the Disney one).
Elsa is not directly named as such, just "the Snow Queen" (the French title of Frozen), and there's a shout-out to the phrase "Libérée, délivrée" (the French title of "Let It Go"). While it's a parody, I guess that was already too many lines crossed for Disney.

Flippé de participer à ce grand souper, je veux juste m'occuper de taper mon propre tempo. Not sure what is there to cringe...she certainly had something in her contract regarding playing the the role in another context without Disney's permission.
A fun little video, exploring the as of yet unsolved mystery of why the 250 foot Dolphin Resort in Disney World doesn't have a airplane warning light on it, when every other structure in the park was built to be just under 200 feet, to avoid just that.

Probably, but the fact it's a parody blurs the issue a little bit… I can't quite imagine she'd be stupid enough to do it if she knew beforehand she'd get the boot. Seems to me like Disney overreacted, even if they're notoriously paranoid when it comes to public image.
Huh… Maybe the lights from the building itself are considered enough? Although it seems pretty dark at the top…

Flippé de participer à ce grand souper, je veux juste m'occuper de taper mon propre tempo. So guys, the other day I came up with a silly idea that may never come to pass; A Disney Fighting Game. In particular, a 3D Arena Fighting Game akin to Pokkén Tournament, complete with having both Playable and Assist Characters.
The Base Playable Roster would include the following: Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, Goofy, Minnie Mouse, Daisy Duck, Rapunzel, Aladdin, Simba, GoGo Tomago, Beast, Mulan, Hercules, Elsa, Maui, Tigger, Chesire Cat, Lilo And Stitch, Judy Hopps, Kida, Ursula, Captain Hook, Cruella de Vil, Dr. Facilier, Maleficent, TRON, Kim Possible, and an Original Generation character that'd serve as the Big Bad and Final Boss.
Mickey, Donald, Goofy, Minnie, and Daisy would all get original outfits made specifically for their appearance in this game. They would also be the first characters that players would have access to when starting the game, and would all be All-Around Characters (Though Donald, Goofy, Minnie, and Daisy would have slight advantages and disadvantages) to help players get used to the mechanics of the game, whereas the other Characters would be Unlockable and have more extravagant playstyles. Assist Characters would include popular Side-Characters like Pluto, Marie, Maleficent's Goons, and Ram.
More Characters would be added via DLC and Seasons, both Playable and Assists, with 10 of each being released per Season. The major focus on DLC Characters would be both Pixar Characters and Characters that'd be highly requested, and even Characters who would already be in the game as Assist Characters would be fair game for future DLC. There would also be some surprise Playable Characters like Rallen and Dreamfinder & Figment.
And finally, the Super Moves for the Playable Characters in this game would be called "Magic Bursts" (With the exception of Villains, who would have "Evil Bursts").
So, what do you guys think?
The storm has now resided, the wolf now rests.A beat em up with Disney characters wouldn't happen unless it's very clearly good guys vs bad guys, even then it would be very tame even for a beat em up
this music plays whenever I post also a boxNeeds more Pixar characters.
Peace is the only battle worth waging. And Bambi. Seriously I'd love a game that acknowledged Bambi was actually badass.
Well your dream hasn't quite came into fruition anyway, but on the bright side, we're getting this:
Not quite the same, but a Disney crossover party game admittedly doesn't sound like a bad idea.
They should do something with Dreamfinder and Figment, at least. They know the demand is there. I mean, why else has Figment become EPCOT's unofficial mascot?
The Figment comic was definitely the breakout series rom the Disney Kingdoms line, and even was popular enough to get a sequel.

Since there are rumors about some sort of Mary Poppins attraction the England Pavilion, does anyone have any ideas for what they would do with the idea?
I know Tony Baxter created an idea for a Mary Poppins Dark Ride in college, which looked adorable.

Behold the first clip for Toy Story 4!
Huh, so it looks like Bo just ended up at someone else's house. I was expecting them to have found Bo at the carnival or something.
Also, it looks like they've seriously redesigned Bo's sheep. Probably a necessary change if you ask me since their original designs were really simple, even in 2. Also, Woody asking Bo why she never told him that the sheep actually had names made me chuckle.
"Anybody got some coffee? But nothing too strong! I don't wanna fly into a window at a gajillion miles per hour again, scree!"Bo being back isn't really doing much for me. Maybe it's because I spent nearly a decade thinking Woody and Jesse were a couple.
The Kim Possible film came ouf yesterday and I've been wondering if a reboot cartoon would be film-based. I hope not. I don't like Ron's portrayal and I hate that they replaced the Kimmunicator with a necklace. The change seems so weird because the Kimmunicator seems so marketable, while a goofy looking necklace does not.
My pipe dream, however, is a comic about KP as an adult. It's not something Disney would do, sadly, but I know how Cartoon Network has comics of older properties and a lot of older series get reboots in comics (it's so uncomfortable remembering that Kim Possible wlll be turning 20 in a few years).
I think that’s Molly’s room, and that that scene is a flashback, possibly to how they lost her in the first place.
"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain. Now that you mention it, that makes a lot of sense, especially since "the" Barbie from 3 is one of the Barbies who pitches in to help Woody and the others.
"Anybody got some coffee? But nothing too strong! I don't wanna fly into a window at a gajillion miles per hour again, scree!"
That thought occurred to me as well.
Heaven is a tropical rainforest.
