I'm watching it ASAP - I'm sure it's no 90's level Nick fare (And I really don't care), but it's good to see/hear Nick is actually legitimately trying on comedy again...
I'm just sorry Robot And Monster couldn't have been an example of this (not just for the sake of building up the numbers proper) - as in, stayed around to find a proper audience and achieve just that (if only because I liked that show.), but oh, well.
EDIT (Aftermath) - It's the kind of stupid, yet legitimately entertaining and believable humor I have and still do praise Jimmy Two Shoes for back when it was around. Basically, it's up there with Robot & Monster as something worth following, IMHO.
Just as long as it doesn't rely too much on gross humor (most of the what 90's fare was known for otherwise, despite what nostalgia freaks tell you!), this will hopefully be a much needed hit for Nick (and not just to off Spongebob, either...).
For now, I'll side with those saying "Forget the haters!"(Even if they have a point about Nick approaching the more intelligent humor their 90's shows had, and that I admit, I miss, too.).

Even if I had different face, I AM STILL DISGRACED.i'm actually liking this.
first episode i saw was the pizza wing video game place. where sanjay and craig pull off a masterblaster style super cool guy.
second episode, creepy rear leg, front legged dogs.
yeah, totally see the Bobs Burgers similarity
It's stupid, but the good kind of stupid. Not one that abuses character quirks for the sake of a joke, but one that realizes the potential of where to go and runs with it. Then again, it just started so it might degrade itself to not-funny-stupid later on via Flanderization
Though I'm really digging the show, especially the apparent of focus of butt surgery.
it's butt surgery
my drawing blog ya'll UPDATES 10 TIMES A MONTH WOW, THIS IS STRAIGHT UP MUH SOGGY KNEEYou have brought shame to your family.
my drawing blog ya'll UPDATES 10 TIMES A MONTH WOW, THIS IS STRAIGHT UP MUH SOGGY KNEEI disliked it from the previews, but decided to watch the first episode before passing judgement, and I actually like it. Reminds me of Regular Show, which I also thought would be stupid before discovering it was AMAZING. Sure, Sanjay and Craig isn't perfect, but it's good and that's a rare quality for cartoons nowadays.
I went into this show with NO judgement whatsoever. It only looks kind of like Regular show/Bob's burgers. The charaters are pretty likable, the humor is one that would be normal in independent films, and it just has a value that isn't seen much on Nick now. It just seems like a show and formula Nick should keep for a while.
BUTT SURGERY, ANYONE?

If it continues to ease them off of crap like Spongebob Squarepants and Fairly Odd Parents, keep the pain a-comin'! I'll say this hundreds of times until it sticks if I have to, too.

Even if I had different face, I AM STILL DISGRACED.Well, this thread sure has become quiet. So, what does anyone here think of this week's episode? I think it's official that Hector, the eyepatch kid, is this series' Gene/Muscle man.

Like you said, as long as they don't Flanderize it and keep them from doing Sponge Bob Squarepants crap, this could work. Still just waiting for more Gravity falls.

Well, this show has redeemed itself in my eyes. I came into it cautious, and found it to be pretty good. Can't wait to see where they'll take this.
