(groans) I was prepared for Titans getting thumped by harems and moe-series. Totally wasn't expecting the toughest rivals to be reverse harems and fujoshi series.
IG, put Levi in ASAP!
Plants are aliens, and fungi are nanomachines./a/'s shitting up a storm. Apparently, the moeshit era is over leaving in it's place....homodachis. -shot-
Welp, there goes 2chan as well!

I did naht./looks for silver lining
At least, this means there will be less trolling about Titans. (nods nods) I noticed that ever since Uta Pri dominated the charts, there was less complaining about Titans being fujoshit over at 4chan.
Plants are aliens, and fungi are nanomachines.> Titans
> fujoshit
What is this I don't even

It's 4Chan is what it is.
I'm sometimes surprised people discuss series they like over there.
"Nullius addictus iurare in verba magistri, quo me cumque rapit tempestas, deferor hospes."Yep, before Uta Pri (and Valvrave) got on the charts about over a week (or two) ago, Titans was being accused (quite a bit) of being fujoshit (cause lots of Levi-admirers (and Bert-admirers) in Titans 4chan threads) for going toe to toe with Gargantia (and Oreimo) on the charts.
Plants are aliens, and fungi are nanomachines. What exactly is Fujoshit?
These are the words that shall come from my mouth. I shall be known for speaking them.derogatory term for the people (catch-all japanee term fujoshi) who generally only watch shows for yaoi or shipping male characters. alternatively, works that are predisposed to appealing to that demographic.
the "MALE CHARACTER X LOOKED AT MALE CHARACTER Y THEY WANT TO DICK EACH OTHER" so idk
i am an existential crisis and people won't stop having me.A derogatory term for material aimed at fujoshi (which is itself a derogatory term, meaning 'filthy woman', for Yaoi Fangirls). Expect lots of good-looking dudes and Homoerotic Subtext.
Personally, I don't have too much of an issue with it as a concept - see also, the predominance of fanservice shows with mostly-female casts and plenty of Les Yay, which tend to be even more trashy and creepy. One common issue, though, is that in the mad scramble to give the hot dudes as much screentime and character interaction as possible, female characters tend to get even more shafted than usual. Best-case scenario, they get a bit Out of Focus. Worst-case, outright gleeful misogyny.

What's precedent ever done for us?Aren't a lot of Yaoi Fangirls complicit in that? I remember that was a problem with Tiger And Bunny.
Anyways, I don't see a problem here. Misaka seems pretty strong.

These are the words that shall come from my mouth. I shall be known for speaking them.I prefer to draw a distinction between fanworks and the actual content of a show. It's certainly true (as with any work), though, that the focus of a work may be affected by the author's personal tastes - for example, the female characters in Brave 10, a show created by an author known for her yaoi doujinshi, did not strike me as being written by someone who liked women all that much.
What's precedent ever done for us?The Titans fandom does have a lot of Yaoi fans, but thankfully (for now) - Mikasa and the other girls also get a lot of love from the female fanbase. What Mikasa-related criticism there is atm is way more directed at IG for giving her (and others) lipstick.
Plants are aliens, and fungi are nanomachines.I'm generally a self-admitted yaoi fan, and I'm all over Ymir and Christa, and I may have a girlcrush on Annie. This guy just writes good female characters, or, rather, what I view as good female characters (good characters who happen to have lady bits). That's made all the difference in the world.

i. hear. a. sound.Certainly, from what I've seen so far, the female character are all much better than the male ones.
"Canada Day is over, and now begins the endless dark of the Canada Night."Well, it's got 20 episodes to prove its men's worth!!!
I did naht.The anime started.
This is a Spoiler
Next episode is out.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gFmGNqji4u0Raws or subs? I'm only finding Raws.
These are the words that shall come from my mouth. I shall be known for speaking them.gg's out
I consider it my duty to ensure that, should you be surprised by a bear in your library, you will have ample ammunition to beat it to death.According to 4chan, gg used "Levy" instead of "Levi".
Plants are aliens, and fungi are nanomachines.
Are we getting a second OP once we hit mid-point? That would be cool, though this first one's set the bar pretty high.
I did naht.
