I always headcanoned that the helmets were different from that point on in the movie AU.
Alright, checking everything that’s been going on lately with the franchise
- Death Battle: Yeah, Power Rangers is probably going to go from a 0-3 record to a 0-4 record. Maybe if they stopped relying on Mighty Morphin, they’d get a win (an allegory for the franchise lately pre Hasbro perhaps). But I’d imagine they could pull some stuff off from the comics. And it depends on whether or not they could use the zord in the fight. Leo’s taken on and defeated some heavy stuff. That being said, I would like a valid win for Power Rangers.
- Opening 2. Okay what is with both Super Ninja Steel’s opening and Beast Morphers 2’s having sloppy editing and no clear editing for the villains. Nice to see Nate fighting the Vivix, almost forgot we were getting the Dino Beast War. Sucks Steel doesn’t get a credit still.
- There’s a role for a actor who many are speculating are a counterpart to Gavan, but we’ll have to wait and see for that.
- A lot of people want a Power Rangers animated series lately from what I’ve seen. For me, it comes down to the execution, but I’m welcome to the thought.
I’d be okay with an animated series, but I’d also like for the live action adaptations of sentai to keep happening. If we could do both I’d be really happy. Maybe a Netflix animated series, while Nick gets the live action stuff?
Also, if they do make a cartoon, what would people want from it? A Mighty Morphin’ reboot, or something entirely original? Maybe drawing elements from Sentai shows that never got adapted?
If they make a cartoon it'll be based on MMPR, that's practically a given.
This week is the Toy Fair and we are very likely to see what series comes next. Rumor has it it's going to be Ryusoulger, but there's a strong case for Kyuranger too. Just a few more hours...
What time does the Toy Fair start?
Saw episode 1. It was a decent episode. Steel was the highlight as usual, glad to see Blaze and Roxy out of their comas and happier. We know Evox is alive, and I'm guessing it has something to do with Mayor Daniels. Speaking of Daniels, the Morph-X towers are now gonna be Globalized, which is now good and bad now that Evox is back, and Scrozzle GTFO ing out of scenes will never not be funny. They also used footage for some underground Megazord fights/rescue, which was pretty nice.
Couldn't tell whether or not the moal was to listen/believe everything you heear.....don't hear Ben and Betty were cute just still got unfairly treated. Really hope Blaze and Roxy can do more since they'll have robotic dupilcates of them running around. And Steel's search for the Loch Ness Monster will lead him to the Plesizord from Dino Charge
The Hasbro panel should start at 1:30 est. They'll transmit it through their Hasbro Pulse facebook page. High chance they're gonna reveal next season there.
And the new season is *drumroll* Power Rangers Season 28!
Ok, no official name yet, but it's going to be a adaptation of Ryusolger! I imagine we might even get a early cameo in the dino war team-up.

Looks like the evil doubles of Blaze and Roxy are back. I'm hoping this time they will exist alongside the originals, because otherwise it's just a repeat of the scenario from Season 1, after they already rescued the real Blaze and Roxy at the end of that season. Speaking of Blaze and Roxy, you think they'll become bona fide power rangers now?
Ugh, Ryusoulger. I thought it was too soon for Sentai, and it's sooner here (counting in stories, not just years). I persist that Kyuranger first would have been a good idea.
Roxy and Blaze becoming Rangers seems to be a common fan wish, but precedent is largely against them (Talon Ranger, Nina Steel Green). It could happen though, there are suits from the movie - if it does, would probably only be a brief appearance, like the extra reds in Ninja Steel.
I'm assuming they're going to do something' with original Blaze and Roxy. I'm not sure what though.
"Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers/Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Issue #4 Cover
The storm has now resided, the wolf now rests.Goddamn Turtle Rangers.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Turtle Power indeed.
I caught up with Ryusoulger, and I'm not sure Ryusoulger Brown would be adapted. Like there's no ranger in the sentai who only appeared in the show who hasn't been adapted, but still.
Another Ranger is another figure to sell, and if they make one of their Gaisorg it's just a repaint. As it's a one-off I assume they'll just find a character who sort of fits like they did with the third red in Ninja Steel.
Let's not forget all the new footage they did with Roxy and Blaze. Having the new brown ranger at least for the second half shouldn't be a problem.
I'd hope they keep the Nada equivalent around for longer.
Wake me up at your own risk. What roles do Evil Roxy and Blaze perform in the original Sentai?
They don’t always use the Sentai rangers though. Hell, they had the perfect character to use for a Green Ninja Steel ranger, and they just never used that suit.
Blaze's equivalent is Enter, and he is the primary villain of the series. He is The Dragon to Messiah, but he is practically the main villain through it. The Robo-Blaze form is actually his main "monster" form in the series, while the Dark Red Buster form only appears for the season finale. As a fun fact, Heckyl was also partially based on Enter.
As for Roxy, her equivalent is Escape and she's Enter's sidekick. She appears much later in the series, big difference from Roxy who is in the very beginning. One notable difference is how her "monster" form in Go-Busters is blue, but in the first season of BM they changed her to yellow to keep the theme of them being rangers. And for the current season they're using the original costume.

Jason wins.
I'm actually shocked because I thought they were going to use the Mystic powers from season 5.
Cool!
Hehe, actually in a bit of Mandela Effect, I had the idea that in the movie the helmets did changed slightly when they got the ninjetti powers. It wasn't until I got my hands on the DVD (I used to have it on VHS until it broke down) that I realized that it wasn't the case lol.
