Any fans? Any specific boards you like to visit? I know their must be a few "lurkers". I come from 4chan, actually. I know a mod is going to delete this thread because "4CHAN IS EVUL AND BAD, YOU GUYZ" bullshit, but fuck it.

I don't know that 4chan threads are against the rules (though if they are I'm sure someone will correct me), but an inflammatory tone certainly won't help a thread stay open.

You know, I actually had a coherent and interesting conversation on 4chan for the first time a little while ago. It was amazing because depending on who most of the posters are at the time you could just get a bunch of memes. Some days it doesn't seem worth talking to the posters.

That said, it's a different kind of place. I just happen to prefer the pace and average post quality here.

/v/ is awful and populated by 5 year olds, /tg/ is tolerable and can be pretty cool, /b/'s squick is overrated, and I never visited the other boards.

The best thing about 4chan is the variety of stuff you'll find on there, especially in /tg/. Lots of interesting stories, most of them untrue of course. The worst thing are idiots who come to other boards and try to start flame wars.

Can Jimsina stop with all the random threads. He has been creating serveal random threads (3 with the same name) One of which was a complaint thread.

You look happy, I can change that if you want.

I only really visit /co/ and /tg/. The latter is pretty good while the former ranges from 'okay' to 'worse than /v/' at points.

I don't frequent 4chan as often as I used to. I pretty much only go on /vp/ now.

Here's my gernal list of okay boards:

  • /tg/- Generally okay. Occasionally, there's one or two really interesting stories of worldbuilding threads going on.
  • /an/- They like animals. What more do you want?
  • /ck/- Being someone that engages in the culinary arts, I occasionally go here for advice.
  • /co/- On a good day. Which doesn't happen very often, admittedly.
  • /m/- I don't go there all that much, but from my limited experience, they're pretty civil.

The /got/ topic on /tv/ is pretty funny if you're into Stannis jokes and don't mind all the 'muh waifu's being flung around.

I'm usually on /co/, though a lot of days I wish I wasn't. I think it is relatively nicer than other boards, but that just makes the days when it is full of assholes more annoying.

Right now they're in a 'NOT MUH MANDARIN' phase. It'll pass in time.

I primarily lurk /co/ and /tg/. Sometimes I go to /v/ if I know something big is going on in gaming news and I need a laugh, but I prefer /vg/ and /vr/ for that. /m/ is also nice.

I go to /b/ just to invade shit with spiderman. It's a complete waste of my time, but I have fun. [lol]

those "wincest" threads fight back hard though...

I lurk in the rest occasionally, and some are actually pretty good. /b/ even manages decent moments at times.

I think that's how they do it.

So, I think the new banners are up? I don't like them as much. They seem less exciting.

I visit /tg/ occasionally, since they sometimes have good discussions about worldbuilding or roleplaying. Entirely too much of it is about 40K, though.

I also visit /mu/ for music sharing threads, which are the sole worthwhile thing about that board. The rest of it is taken up by pretentious douchebaggery.

4chan has some interesting admin trolling.

For instance within the past hour all posts (old and new) were briefly changed to say nothing but "Jibun Woo" (The opening line from a Code Geass OP).

It drives some of the users mad.
