Stark Tech Flying Car!
I was wondering what happened with those.
So, obvious pilot is obvious (hence the oneshot antagonist with the idealistic resolution meant to show us how SHIELD tries to get things done), but is still really cool. What do you think - HYDRA or ZODIAC? Or someone else, given how fond Whedon has been of Canon Foreigners.

Well fuck.
That was something. I did not expect Extremis to come into play.
Man, my brother hates Iron Man 3 (and I'm not totally fond of it, though only for one part truthfully. I'm sure I don't need to explain it), but I guess it makes sense. These guys got their hands on everything though, Chitauri tech, Super soldier serum,Gamma radiation, and now Extremis. All they were missing was Arc reactor technology (which makes Tony's tight grip on it even more justified)
So...what are your guesses on what really happened? The Tahiti thing? Is this a clone? A Life Model Decoy? Perhaps he was brought back in a questionable manner? I'm very curious about it; the biggest draw was Coulson's survival, and now we find out there's more to it than meets the eye.
Was it just me, or did they pull off some cool stuff for a T.V budget? The little robots and the Flying car (I totally forgot about those things) seemed pretty good.
One Strip! One Strip! While there's most likely more than what's visible on the surface, regarding Coulson's survival, it doesn't necessarily need to be that big a change.
Though when the van door flew off he did move pretty quick, for an old geezer.

In regards to the SFX, it could be splurging on the first episode or so for the audience hook, then toning it down some for the rest of the season. If they do keep up that level of effects, though, that would be most excellent.

All your safe space are belong to Trump"I'm not Hermione"

"War without fire is like sausages without mustard." - Jean Juvénal des Ursins^^ Character, not actor.
Though I think this particular conversation should come to a halt before it gets into creepazoid territory.

All your safe space are belong to Trump^ Because I couldn't keep my big yap shut about trying to be humorous.
Because British smart girl has the exact same voice and accent as Emma Watson.
And even kind of looks like her several times.

"War without fire is like sausages without mustard." - Jean Juvénal des UrsinsSaw it. Liked it. Trailers already did all the good stuff from the episode. Can't wait for next week.
You are not alone.I liked how the Mandarin was handled in Iron Man 3, not defending my opinion or trying to convince anyone else. Thoughts on Coulson: Robot, possibly. Aren't LM Ds temporary?
My problem with Iron Man 3 was an issue of characterization anyway.
^ I dunno how it works exactly in the comics, but in the MCU it's a serum that increases people's strength/abilities and gives them heat related powers. With enough of it, you can do flaming Shoryukens or even breathe fire. It also makes you explode eventually.

Ah, cool. I don't know what's comic canon and what's created for the show, but I look forward to finding out.
Read my stories!

I missed the first 20 minutes, but I've been able to catch up fast. I don't know everyone's names, though. Uptight Agent and Hacker Girl seem pretty cliche, but I'm sure they'll develop past that.
I probably missed everyone's character establishment, but the rest of the characters (the investigation team) still seem really interesting to me.
And wow, that Centipede business went bad fast. Mike is starting to remind me of Atomic Skull.
