After 8 long years! A SECOND SEASON IS FINALLY HAPPENING!

Wow this is a huge surprise.
With it being so long and the L Ns over it seemed impossible to get another season.
Is there some spin off or sequel series that this is advertising?

x5: Huh? (*looks up earlier pages*) That ending's...less than ideal.
(Maybe they let the LNs and manga run their courses before figuring out where to go with the anime because I don't know?)
PV video:
I literally have no clue. Maybe they'll elaborate more on the "what took so long" later on.

Heh. Four years ago, the original LN author was fairly certain the anime wasn't getting a season 2.
Talk about your irony of ironies, am I right?
EDIT: Upon closer reading, the article is more about the author saying it isn't up to him when a new anime season happens or not. Still pretty hilarious that we ended up getting a second season at all. (*internally cries about Panty & Stocking still not getting a second season*)

Its good to be back.
Maou x Chiho is my preffered ship anyhow, so I say to go all out with it fo rthe anime.
Watch Symphogear![]()
How so? I ask because I greatly prefer Maou x Emi any day of the week. Probably because I'm a sucker for redheads.
Emi is an unpleasant person. The anime focused on the Sitcom Arch-Nemesis aspect a more if I recall right.
I’ve pretty much tuned out everything of the books except for the basic plot lines as the first season is the best thing to come from this story.

Every accusation by the GOP is ALWAYS a confession.

The author didn't even understand the characters he had written himself. Like Olba? Lucifer? kidnapping Chiho while she was unconscious meant he could use her insane jealousy as a power source, but then like one volume later the story was like "Normally Chiho would never get jealou-" No, stop right there, how do you not get what her defining characteristic as a love interest was?
The anime didn't mention the part about Chiho's jealousy being so absurdly directed and powerful, incidentally. Didn't mention she was part of the problem during that big conflict.
