Flying doom bringer? As in, your wyrm?
Well for starter bring him against infested, so that he can level safely at first.
Then give him regen first (he's still not very solid), and then either guardian or warrior. Crowd control isn't noticeable, so either level guardian/warrior so that he attacks from farther and give you more shield. I dunno if it's useful to level regen honestly. Then just give shield/vitality to the bad boy.
As for his weapon, I gave frost damage to mine, so that he can slow any asshole that tries to blindside me, and I find it to be very useful. After that give him damage I guess.
The shop will be more uniform at the very least. The Rhino nerf is kinda deserved if you want my opinion, and 80% at max level is still pretty darn strong, especially if it affects Rhino's shield. If Iron Skin is anything like "Overheat" from Ember, the damage reduction can be boosted further with Focus.
Otherwise, I'm pretty happy with all the fixes/tweaks we're getting. I honestly didn't expect a Sound Quake buff tho, that stuff is already pretty strong.
So, I decided to try this on a whim and I must say that the aiming is quite friendly for someone who can't hit the broad side of the Titanic from a foot away in most FPS.
Unfortunately something in the latest patch causes the game to insist on starting in Windowed mode when I have 64-bit and DX-11 enabled and when I switch it back to fullscreen it freezes its image while playing all the right sounds as I move my cursor to let me know it's actually running properly under the screenshot. When I disable either DX-11 or 64-bit (or both) my Cuda card refuses to recognize the game and shunts its workload onto its meagre Intel counterpart.
Beta is beta, I guess. I may have to settle for playing in Windowed mode and live with the start menu randomly opening itself until this issue is fixed.
EDIT: Problem seems to have been fixed with the newest update. Beta really is beta and the devs are really fast.

Being almost but not quite invincible (down from being utterly invincible) isn't going to stop me from rushing a Rhino because I'm bad at this game and need as much survivability as I can get.
I do wonder if I'll be wasting time in any way if I hang onto my beloved rank 15 Strun or if I should switch to other primaries just for the sake of leveling and ranking.
Huh. Despite the Rhino being widely decried as useless after the loss of godmode I've seen way more Rhinos in pub squads in the past hour I've been online than I have in the 10+ hours I played when Iron Skin was still supposedly a I WIN button (which was absolutely none - I saw my first live Rhino in Fossa right after the nerf). Hipster much?
Jackal is being reticent with the Rhino helm. Also, all those Rhino chassis blueprints I'm told I pick up seem to disappear into thin air.

I already have had the glaive, so I am good.
And in response, the grakata is an extreme crit factory, inbred with a bullet hose. It rocks.
And I am about to his mastery rank 8
