Not like Chariot's work would've have helped in the long run. There's still a fundamental difference between the two as friends they couldn't resolve until the present day. Akko and Diana basically succeeded where their mentors could not.
Like, one of the big thematic takeaways is that no matter how great of a witch you can be on your own, you can't understand everything by yourself. You need a counterbalance to achieve creative harmony. It's not a perfect show, but in terms of themes and message, it's my absolute favorite Trigger work. The passion and metaphor of creativity really shines through.
If she did, then Woodward has zero morality.
My take on Woodward is that despite how kind and supportive she seems to be, Woodward is as much a traditionalist as the stuck-ups at Luna Nova. Hell, the first time we see Woodward and Ursula together might have been the first time in years. She didn't do anything to help Chariot when she got roasted by the masses. I think the only reason she return is because like Croix use Akko to get to Chariot, she uses Chariot to get to Akko. When Chariot swore not to get Akko involve before she confronts Croix, that was when Woodward told Chariot You Have Outlive Your Usefullness.
Since the OV As are getting taken off Netflix soon, does that mean their English dubs will finally get a proper DVD/Blu-Ray release somewhere down the line?
If your name isn't Stranger Things, Netflix doesn't give you one, apparently.
I'd be willing to pay upwards of sixty bucks for a nice Blu-ray box set that includes both OVAs (or even just Enchanted Parade) plus the complete series in English and Japanese. LWA is my favorite anime and I hate that I can't put it on my shelf.
I've seen some DV Ds on ebay but they seem unlicensed, and some official ones on Amazon but they're from Japan and really expensive.

The Protomen enhanced my life. It's not looking likely, but never say never. We're still getting that broom racing VR game, after all. Trigger obviously still believes in the property.
If there's a second season, I hope Lotte and Sucy finally get their due. I love Akko, but the other two basically disappeared in the second half of season one and that's no bueno.
Its unfortunate if there's no second season, since it seemed like the creator had some big plans for what he wanted to do.
"During interviews, Yoshinari said he wishes to create a second season that explores the history of characters like Diana Cavendish and Amanda O'Neill. The director also wants to create an anime spinoff series focused on the witch Shiny Chariot. He even suggested that the Night Fall (or Naito Foru) books in the anime might work as a standalone anime series"

Ugh, I'd absolutely love all of that! Why isn't this anime more popular? It has great stories, great characters, and very funny jokes. Did Netflix somehow kill it? Would it have done better on cable or Crunchyroll or something?
Here's some good news, though—the OVAs are still on the 'flix. I guess they renewed that contract at the last minute.
Hard to say, really. Usually, how anime is dealt with overseas makes basically no difference because there's so little money in that for the creators, regardless of if it's on Netflix or Crunchyroll or whatever. But LWA is a strange case where the whole second OVA came from an overwhelmingly successful Kickstarter, and the series apparently grew out of that.
Which may actually be the problem. This show seems pretty unpopular in its home country. I don't know what the sales numbers were like for the discs (the Japanese ones, as opposed to the nonexistent overseas release), but the credits of Enchanted Parade has this huge list of the $300+ donors. Around 1% of those are Japanese names. And that's from a community accustomed to prices that make Aniplex of America look like a thrift store.
You never know, though; sometimes these things just get mired in Development Hell for several years. If they can figure out how to fund it, we might get another season. The interest is certainly there... in some parts of the world.
The series had a good ending, so if it did get another season, I'd prefer a hefty Time Skip. At least a few years (maybe right after the girls graduate), maybe even a full generation (to show their kids going to the school).
Writing a post-post apocalypse LitRPG on RR. Also fanfic stuff.Little Witch Enter The Work Force
Because hey we know Lotte wants to run a shop, Akko is going to Change the World Through Shininess, Diana is going to become head of family probably, and Barbara will backpack through Europe until she gets more characterization
Forever liveblogging the AvengersI think I would like a hypothetical sequel series to start in their final year before graduation, and end with said graduation.
So time has passed, and their goals have changed, but it still lives up to the title of L Ittle Witch Academia.
Agreed, Diana is indeed BG.
Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice.

Also, come to think of it, just how omniscient is she? I was sort of assuming that a lot of what she told Akko in the Abyss was bluster to play the part of the spirit, but what if, for instance, she knew for a 100% fact that Akko wouldn't die at Wagandea?
