Where can I find this series on DVD? It looks really cool, but all the episodic volumes are very expensive, and a complete series release looks....sketchy.
The Protomen enhanced my life.I'm sure there are perfectly legal means to watch it somewhere.
Writing a post-post apocalypse LitRPG on RR. Also fanfic stuff.Normally her first test would be seen as noble but the second one was horrid. She places a test on Akko just when she is in grief. After that, Akko is left lost and having no clue what to do. This shows that Woodward takes advantage of situations when the Shiny Rod wielders are emotionally distraught.
Next is in the flashback between Chariot and Croix. When she first appeared to them, Woodward focuses more on Chariot rather than Croix. Whether or not Woodward is aware how Croix feels is up to your guess but their is proof in Episode 24.
At this point, this is the lowest point for Chariot and Croix and didn't help that Woodward show up after it happened. Croix shouts at Woodward and Chariot just looks shocked but the biggest point is when Woodward leaves them to be killed by the Noir Rod
That scene alone confirms everything. Woodward is not only the hypocrite of the worst kind for her actions that are direct contradictions to the lessons of the Shiny Rod but she also doesn't care for Akko, Chariot and Croix. Woodward never consider that making Croix happy would benefit Chariot which led to the Dream Fuel Spirit incident and when Chariot lost the rod, Woodward just left her. She may not have much power but she could have at least try to vouch for her protege to the Witches. Instead, she let Chariot to go through ten years of guilt and shame.
And the WORST part is, Woodward never informed Chariot that the Grand Triskellion can only be used by her and Akko. This Quest has gone too far and Woodward still inclines to keep that fact a secret.....and for what, to save magic. You mean to tell me that this crazy witch would let Chariot lose everything all to teach a lesson. And to dismiss ten years of Chariot's devoted service to her, Woodward values the stick over Chariot.
There’s always that old cliche that it won’t work if someone just gives you the answers
Forever liveblogging the AvengersAfter some repeated viewings, I did develop an opinion on how foolish Chariot was when she defended herself from the Noir Rod. She keeps shouting repeatedly about how much she regret her failures and refusing to abandon her friends. I didn't see the logic on doing that considering that this was only going to distract her and allowing the Noir Rod to beat her down hard as the Noir Rod is just an animal with a lot of rage hence it will never give her a chance to talk.
But then after a while, I realized what Chariot was doing was completely the opposite to much of her character that we knew in the previous episodes. All we knew about her is that Chariot wanted to have the perfect time to explain to Akko about her destiny and the Dream Fuel Spirit. However in Episode 24, she now shouts and cries during what was logically not the perfect time to do when her life is in jeopardy. So what changed that. Well there are evidences to support a theory I had.
Chariot said to Croix that she will not abandon her. This is oddly specific. She could have said anything like "I still care for you" or "Now I save you, you stay the hell away from my life". However, if you compare this to a very recent scene it makes sense. Chariot was not going to abandon Croix but Woodward not long ago, abandon her two students. She did in direct response to Woodward's actions. Next was when Chariot shouted about her failures. She wasn't bothered about Croix's downfall nor did she said anything about Woodward or the Grand Triskellion. However, she did show emotion when she said Akko' name and Chariot was in complete tears. When you put the two together, you realized what Chariot's intentions were: She always intended to return to Akko. If you think about it, it makes the previous scenes after the DFS reveal a lot more sense. When Chariot said to Diana that she was unworthy to Akko, I think she meant that she was unworthy until she proved her loyalty by fighting Croix and secure the Grand Triskellion for Akko. And when she pleaded for Akko to be taken care of, it can be easily seen she wants Akko to be look after until she came back.
However things did not go as Chariot planned. She still cannot defeat Croix and she failed to protect the Grand Triskellion but that's not the worst of it. The worst was that Woodward, someone Chariot look up to for a decade, was responsible for Croix's descent to madness and indirectly responsible for the first Quest failure and Akko's condition. To make this even worse, Woodward abandons them at the Arcturus Forest, a place that can never be escaped and after Noir Rod used up what could be ALL of the remaining magic to make this trip, she and Croix were stranded there forever. And Akko will believe for all time that Chariot was a thief and a liar and Chariot will have to live with the shame that she was Woodward 2.0. In short, Woodward betrayed Chariot and she stole Akko away from her.
After that, Chariot completely lost her shit. She didn't care the Noir Rod was beaten her to death, she's yelling and crying because she is trying to reach out to Akko, telling her that she loves her.

It might be nice to complete the trio, but maybe you'll want to push her down the list?
